Incredible. Last time I had this was 10 years ago. Stumbled upon this one at a gas station at a rest stop and the burger was top quality in every dimension. Highly recommended if you want a solid classic burger that still counts as fast food but is multiple steps above for sure.
Employees were really nice. Food didn't have a lot of seasoning, but sometimes it's nice to have a simple and homemade-type feel burger. Glad that they have vegan and vegetarian options (impossible burger w./ dairy-free cheese, vegan burger with vegetable patty and no cheese, and veggie burger with cheese). They even have a vegan milkshake! Also I appreciated the burger paper wrapper, sustainable packaging, and paper bag.
The impossible burgers were amazing!! My husband is vegetarian and had the elevation fries and he gives 5 stars ⭐️ Give then a try they are located in the Sunoco at the Maryland House rest stop!! I will definitely be back!
Oh my goodness... Who knew? It's a counter inside of the gas station at the Maryland House. We saw the signs for it, looked it up to verify vegan options then searched for it until we realized it was in the gas station. I had the impossible burger, he had the beef burger. Best burgers I can remember eating. The fries were skinny. I'll probably go with onion rings next time. And there will be a next time
I didn't have high hopes for a place inside the Sunoco of an I-95 rest stop. In fact I thought to myself "why the hell am I ordering from this place? Am I really this hungry for hot food right now?" But I was, it was a miserable windy day with snow and sleet. Turns out, wow...it's really not bad...definitely a step or two above Rofo. The chicken tenders are BIG and made with quality white breast meat. I don't particularly like shoestring fries, but they were quite tasty. Glad I checked it out.
A hidden gem on I-95. Great grass-fed, organic beef burgers, and really good fries. Great onion rings - when available! Socially conscious place! Burgers! Plus, they let us know they didn't want to sell us any onion rings during an onion recall, which is a very good pro-customer decision.
Yes, it is *inside* the gas station.
This is a completely functional Elevation Burger. We visit the Falls Church location frequently, and the food here was just as good.
Advantage actually goes to the gas station EB for the huge clean bathrooms, electrical and usb charging stations, and the attachment to a convenience store offering greatly expanded drink and side item choices.
Disadvantage is the shortage of inside seating. There is only bar/counter style seating; eight high stools total, four on each side of the building. Stools can't be scooted together, it's a fair drop to the concrete.. Not great for eating with small children.
