Absolutely a GEM! Best Mediterranean food in the area and the entire staff is the best. Nurcan, H.K, and Garret are definitely my favorite people in the place! My only problem is I don't get there enough but I'm working on that! If You are in Ada do yourself a favor and stop in! Not sure what to get? I recommend the Zeytins Special. It has gyro meat, grilled steak and chicken, Turkish meatloaf I believe they call it, rice and a salad. I can turn into dinner for 2 or leftovers for a fantastic lunch or dinner anytime! Definitely worth it!
Food is good.. less Spicy 🔥🔥.. we like spicy food so asked for some spicy sauce to add to our food..Ambience is ok..
It was our first time in tonight to order takeout and we will absolutely be coming back. The atmosphere walking in was fantastic, the booths are absolutely adorable. I loved the decor. The staff were all extremely sweet even telling me how to pronounce a word id asked about and telling me what it means. The food was FANTASTIC. It was my husbands first time trying it and he is definitely hooked. The appetizer sampler was so good, id highly recommend trying it if you cant pick just one. We also had the Zeytin Special entree, the meat was grilled perfectly and was moist and delicious. We're going to be repeat customers for sure!
Great experience thanks to HK who made sure our group of 6 had a wonderful time celebrating a retirement! We were able to easily reserve a table and every thing was outstanding. Our party had spinach chicken, beef and chicken kebobs, lamb chops, and more. We all enjoyed our meals and the experience and will definitely return for more of the same. HK anticipated our needs and had a fun, friendly demeanor.
They are the best restaurants around here. And the food is the Real Turkish food. Everything is so tasty. The people who work there are so friendly and genuine.
I highly recommend this place to everyone
I have been here a few times before, but tonight was my first time since the pandemic, I believe. It was as I remembered it: nice Turkish cushions at the booths in the middle of the dining area and Turkish music playing. I ordered an authentic entree, and it was delicious! So was the baklava. This sweet treat is a standard in the Middle East, and I highly recommend it to our Western taste buds! The food even came on a metal tray that itself was on top of a wooden dish, for protection against heat. Smart! This is a fine option for an excellent dining experience in Grand Rapids.
Excellent location right accross from the water and ample parking space.
Environment is very welcoming and booths are covered with comfortable authentic seating.
Bar area is well designed and adding a depth to the view.
Menu is very well balanced to encompass turkish cuisine but not ovewhelming with too many options.
I have started with Lentil soup and it was excellent.
All off the starters sounded grrat so I chose sampler platter. Both eggplant samplers were stellar, also hummus of course is a safe choice.
My main dish was Adana Kebap and it was absoulutely great, made from fresh meat and perfectly spiced.
Lastly you need to finish Turkish food with a warm glass of Turkish Tea.
This was a great experience and Highly Recommend anyone in the area to try it.
Highly recommend if you are in the area! The service was great and so was the food. I got the chicken shish kabob and my husband got the lamb chops. We didn’t get drinks this time, but we saw other tables have great looking drinks and many drinking wines.
This was our first time trying Turkish food and we were not disappointed. The appetizer platter had a lot of very good hummus/salsas to eat with bread. The eggplant salsa was my favorite appetizer, but the pepper delight came in a close second. The Kaseri cheese flambe was a big hit with our whole table. The kids' burger and chicken nuggets were nothing out of the ordinary. The lamb Mediterranean was very flavorful and paired well with both pita and rice. The lamb chops were cooked perfectly, but maybe could have used a little bit more seasoning. The adana kebab (seasoned ground lamb) was our favorite because it was seasoned perfectly. The iskender (sliced gyro in garlic yogurt and tomato sauce) was delicious as well. My lamb shish kebab was very tender and the chicken spinach was very juicy.
This place is amazing. People are so friendly.
Foods are so amazing that you should try one of each!
We had a delicious dinner tonight. It’s a small and cozy restaurant with excellent service and food. We were very happy as when it’s snowing outside heavily, we found this perfect lively, warm place. They have patio seating as well. We would definitely stop by again.
Food is super delicious and good portions . Yes, you have to be patient to enjoy the food, longer wait time.
Lamb chops - cooked to perfection & crazy good flavor
Gyro - juicy and lots of flavor
Adana kabab( lamb) - out of the world flavor and super juicy
Rice is super buttery
Will come back !!
The food was good but the lavash bread was very dry. I ordered baklava to go and was shocked to see it was $10 for 4 tiny pieces. It too was dry but maybe that is just the Turkish style.
Very clean and modern interior with several large-screen TV's and ample seating.
Very good traditional Turkish menu items from falafel, gyros, shish-kabob and other assorted lamb, beef or chicken entree items.
The flavors are top-notch and the portions are of good value. Great place to try new dishes if you are unfamiliar with this style of food.
I would have given five stars if it weren't for the very slow service we had on my visit. We had a party of seven and it wasn't very crowded at the time, so I don't know what happened. I'm assured this was an unusual circumstance.
My girlfriend and I went for her birthday dinner, and we had a lovely time. We got to sit on the patio and enjoy authentic Turkish cuisine while sipping wine from the comprehensive wine list. Our server showed great care for us and even provided a tasty birthday dessert on the house. Zeytin seems undiscovered. Get here before the crowds swarm in!
