Worst meal I have every been served!!!!!. I ordered a 3 meat plate. Beef burnt ends, chicken breasts, ribs, with green beans, and potato casserole. burnt ends were exactly that. Very Burnt, Very Dry and crunchy. I would rather eat beef jerky, My chicken breast was so dry it was brown all the way through. It fell a part in shreds. My potato casserole cooked for so long it was also brown all the way through. I have never eaten brown potatoes before! My ribs and green beans were OK. But I am still starving after being severed very little eatable food. This particular Dicky's needs to just go out of business!!

I was in this neighborhood and decided to give this location a try. As usual I ordered my food in the app for curbside pickup with the first time slot chosen, when I arrived they did not have assigned parking for curbside but instead had 2 spaces assigned for takeout orders with a separate entrance saying TAKEOUT to the right of the main door so I parked there & "checked in" with the app but this location did not have a phone number on the signs to call. I waited for over 10 minutes in the takeout spot before I finally got out and when inside the takeout door to see the hold up was. There were lots of employees inside, more than I have ever seen at a Dickeys and no customers though at that time except for me coming in the takeout door with my cane in hand to help me walk. I asked the girl at the register if they had curbside since I had been out there for quite a while waiting. She asked what was the name on the order while an older lady who was apparently the manager on duty popped up from wirhin the crew and came to look my order in their holding oven behind the counter and initially said they did not have an order for me which made me 2nd guess if I was at the correct location but then pulled a bag out that was mine and it was clearly labeled curbside on the ticket. She then brought the bag over and set it next to the empty cup on the counter around the corner from where I was standing and I asked if she could hand it to me where I was standing because I was very sore that day but didn't tell them that. She did take the cup to the far end of the store where the drink station was to put my tea in the cup which considering the cup was empty and obviously put there when they prepared my order for me to fill myself I knew she was doing it for (if I had been a regular to go order idk if she'd have done it) me but she never acknowledged the curbside pickup and expected me to walk even further to get it which I thought was very disrespectful. I will not be going back to this location. They had lots of employees standing around doing nothing but waiting; so one of them could have easily brought it out to me vs the other locations I go to (Plano Rd in Richardson and the one on 75/central exprwy near Knox where I have never seen more than 2 or 3 people working) where they will bring it out to my car.
Also, they make you add a tip when you place the order, so I did, but regretted after the service or lack of it that I was given. This needs to be changed to after the service is complete so it's more appropriate to the services & hospitality given.

I thought I liked Dickey’s but this location is not good. Takeout order for two people took 20 minutes and the meat was just ok…the porks ribs tasted more like hot dogs than barbecue. I’ve been to this location enough to know this is the norm there and not an exception. Prob won’t go back…sad cause it’s definitely the nearest barbecue.

I ordered a Cueban sandwich online to pick up. When i was going to eat it they gave me a pulled pork instead of Cueban I called and they told me they would fix one and give me one the next day. I went the next day and pick up another one, ordering fries and a drink with it. They messed up the order again, the fries were not in the bag, no napkins, no fork... I complained and got the fries after i called them but i just gave up with the sandwich. I do not need 3 strikes to learn that this place can not get an order right.

Dickey's reached out and let me know that problems related to online delivery orders have been resolved. I ordered today appetizers, a 3 meat plate, a drink and dessert. Everything was perfect, delivery was quick and my complaints are irrelevant. I can totally recommend ordering online and having it delivered.
Thank you to the owner for responding, to dwayne garrison for reaching out to let me know i wouldn't have any more problems, and to the staff for making an outstanding meal.
I'm leaving the original up so it's clear how much of a 180⁰ today's experience has been. I'm impressed, thank you.

Don't order deliver. It's a frustrating waste of time. Orders that have been completed have usually been missing items. Half of my orders have been cancelled after waiting an hour. Their website ordering uses 3rd party delivery, which often doesn't generate an order for the delivery service to pick up, wasting the delivery drivers time. Then the order gets cancelled. And you have to call their corporate office for a refund. Ive had trouble using uberEats, grubhub, and activemenus.
The food is pretty fantastic. I recommend visiting their restaurant and enjoying their food in person. But there's no way that 1 person can have SO many problems with nearly every order, save 2 that i know were delivered without problem and were complete with all items. Easily a dozen other orders have left me to go hungry.
Good food, but systemic problems with online delivery ongoing for a year. Im sorry that i can't recommend the delivery option the same as i can recommend their food, which i have enjoyed for many years. I hate leaving a review like this.

Dickeys has some new menus items. I had a chopped beef taco for $2.50. Fantabulous!

I've lived all my life in Texas and this is my first time at Dickey's. Came in at 6:30 PM and I was the only guest dining. Guess this is more of a lunch spot or take out during the week. Food was hot, there was plenty of parking and I got the Wednesday special which was pulled pork, sausage, 2 sides and 1 drink. I opt for the mashed potatoes and mac & cheese. I asked for bbq sauce on the side. The pulled pork was slightly on the dryer side. They do have a condiment station where you can add more sauce, pickles, onions, butter, cheese, sour cream, green onions etc which I really enjoyed doctoring up my plate. They also offer free ice cream. I would definitely come back when if I'm in a mood for bbq!

I work nearby this Dickey's location, and I used to come in about twice a week. However, sometime in October or November 2021, management and/or staff changed. Now when I walk in, I'm told that Dickey's is only doing catering orders, or online pick-up orders. Apparently, the dining room is now closed. It's disappointing to miss their weekday lunch specials now.
Wednesday, December 15, 2021, I thought I would give this Dickey's another try. I walked in at 12:30pm and there were 3 employees standing at the front counter. They asked me if I was picking up a "to go" order. I said no, and they said they are sorry, but they are not taking in-store orders at this time.
