The aroma of delicious Greek food brought us in, and I'm glad we stopped!
We started with the Tzatziki and Pita plate, which was a delicious and well presented appetizer to get started with. Then we had the Gyro Stir Fry, which is a combination I've never seen before (also delicious), the Authentic Gyro, and the Mezedakia Platter. Everything was fantastic, portions were good, and prices were reasonable. The Avgolemono soup and the side salad were also top notch.

The server was excellent! Food was tasty. Lady with blonde hair, I think one of the owners wife, was very rude. Did not speak when spoken to. Not the way the run a business. You want to make customers feel comfortable, not like you don't want them to be there! Needs a change of attitude 🙄

I've been craving a real Greek Salad since I visited Crete, and I am always let down. Their Horiatiki Salad did the trick! Vasili's is missing barely rusks, but the flavor and everything else is on point! Service is great and the staff are always friendly! Prices are pretty fair and I've never left hungry.

Love this place and dine here frequently. It's very casual and friendly. Food is delicious and portions are large. I have also ordered the party trays for large gatherings and you get plenty. I highly recommend this place and am glad to have a Greek option nearby.

Such amazing food! Ordered takeout last night and got the large Greek salad with chicken and the hummus, And ordered a few gyros also! The chicken on the salad was some of the best chicken I’ve had from a takeout restaurant!

Amazing fresh, real Greek food. Get the "OPA" flaming cheese or don't come at all. Everything is delicious and the staff are kind and down to earth. They'll even help you pronounce the food correctly and make recommendations. Love this place.

My boyfriend and I just stopped in today for the first time and we will definitely be back again. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming right as we walked in the door. A relative recommended we pay a visit to Vasili's Greek Cuisine and we were delighted with the warm welcome and wonderful cuisine. We tried several items from the menu and everything was prepared deliciously. We received great service and were impressed that the owner came to speak to us and personally ask how our meal was. The prices were reasonable and the portions generous. The restaurant was sparkling clean and ambiance friendly. We will be back!

We recently ran some errands in Akron--something we don't usually do, since we tend to head north to Cleveland rather than east to Akron. Still, we're always open to new experiences, as long as they have no chance of ending in arrests or a rash.<br/><br/>Vasili's was one of three restaurants we decided to try or do takeout from in a single block area. It also ended up being the single positive experience among the three. The restaurant itself was very clean, and the cooking area, open to view. We didn't get a lot of content for trial, but simply did takeout on two gyros: a Gyro Supreme and a Chicken Gyro. Those impressed us for the quantity and freshness of the ingredients, and more so, for the absence of overwhelming salt content that ever so many Greek gyros shops have. Vasili's gyros had next to no salt, but plenty of onions, several thick tomato slices, a good, rich sauce with a fine tang of garlic, and meat that was both tender and flavorful.<br/><br/>We were so pleased the result that the next time we're out we'll probably try a few appetizers and more ambitious entrees. Suffice to say that Vasili's passed our initial test with flying colors.

First time trying Vasili's tonight. I'm always on the hunt for a great gyro - and I was successful to find one here at Vasili's. Very friendly staff & by far the best gyro I have ever had. Also ordered some jumbo wings - crispy and hot and jumbo. Worth my trip down to the valley.

The food is great! Almost everything is homemade, and the gyro meat is cut thick so it stays juicy. Even the fries are hand cut. You get huge portions for what you pay for too. The owner does all the cooking himself, and the atmosphere is very down to earth and family friendly.

Solid Gyro's. The gyro supreme is very good. The feta cheese and tzatziki sauce are perfect. yum yum. The spanakopita is okay. They're not my favorite but it may be because I'm not a big fan of them. It's a nice clean restaurant with very friendly staff. It's an enjoyable place to eat in or carry out.
