We have been going to Arnies, old, new now the new Public House for over 25 years. The grand opening was wall to wall people. It's always great seeing the regulars. The new menu has something for all tastes. Steve and Liz are always welcoming. Matt is a great Chef. I love the onion straws, he would make a special batch for me even though they were not on the menu yet. Just ask, he will try to accommodate. The staff are all very friendly. The old, Chris, Martin, Matt and the new. Sorry don't know all their names yet but Ben, our Aussie. Carrie, what can I say, she is the best, most friendly person you will meet. Our server was Diago. He did a great job, considering the place was packed and it was opening night. We had the pork shank which was excellent. Highly recommend the New Arnies Public House.
I am extremely picky. I work in the industry and I think this is one of the best places in Akron. I have eaten here 3 times and twice I have had a cheeseburger. Once to try it and the second time because the first time was so good. The burger was and I say was the best I have ever, yes ever had. It was Cooked exactly as I asked. No excuses like we can not serve it that way. We have to cook the shot out of it so it has no flavor and is a rock. This was a perfect medium rare. The flavour was stupendous and the bun was exceptional. This has now become one of my favorite places to go. I like local and this will be a great spot to stop at. Can not wait to try some of the other items. Like the meat loaf. Mmmmmm thank you Armies. By the way all three times I have had awesome service. Great silverware ( nice firm and heavy duty) and cloth napkin. You have it all. Keep it up.
Hadn’t eaten at Arnie’s in years. I thought it was just another bar. Turns out the food is really amazing. From the burgers to the chicken and waffles, and pork shank, everything I’ve had so far is really excellent. Great neighborhood place, very friendly, I will be back. Oh, I’m going tonight!
The food is wonderful! Homemade chips melt in your mouth, the cornbread and honey butter was too die for...chicken satay delicious, wedge salad so good..meatball sliders delish..what else can I say!
I have tried almost everything on the menu and it is always good. You can eat healthy or indulge, which I like. I have brought many picky people here and Everyone loves what they get� great place for vegetarians!

Best food, service, and dining atmosphere in Akron! This is our go to place and we are never disappointed. Great place to get gift certificates for Christmas as well!

First time here- Best Homemade Toasted Cheese I've had to date- and I've had my fare share of Toasted Cheese sandwiches. Mashed potatoes - just like mom makes them- and even better. Prices are wonderful- what a great value. This chef is spot on- this hidden gem is definitely one of our new favorite homemade food spots.

Six of us went for dinner and ended up ordering 5 different items from the menu - from a burger to sliders to shrimp tacos and more. All six of us loved our meals, and would return to Arnie's Public House in a heartbeat!
We stopped for dish on a Friday during lent. Service was good but fish was just ok. Nothing special, seemed like frozen prepared fish. We were hoping for a hand battered fresh fish dinner.
LOVE this place; my 13 yr old constantly wants the Wings. TODAY did Mothers day Brunch …. I want to than Arnies for that … it was great!

Amazing. Fabulous food, casual and comfortable atmosphere, top notch cocktails. Bartender is an actual mixologist and highly skilled in his craft. Housemade bitters and cherries add the finishing touches.
You would never expect such an excellent menu at this quaint mom and pop style place, but it will stand up to the best menus you can find for quality and selection. Also very fairly priced and tons of vegetarian options.
This place will be our new staple for good eats.
Our server was phenomenal!!! Food absolutely out of this world! Get the fried green tomatoes and you will be heaven!
Servers were good. Fried green tomatoes are yummy appetizer or side dish. Burgers were good, too, done as ordered.
Arnie's is a good spot in West Akron for a easy lunch and a beverage, adult if you prefer. Menu is nice for "bar food". A little more upscale than most.
