First they didn’t have blue moon. Second service was awesome. Crab cakes appetizer phenomenal. I got a lamb shank and lobster Mac n cheese. Wifey got salmon and sweet potatoes. Both dishes were great. Beer selection sucked. I think maybe sound deadening or something would help. Our server has to tell the specials. I doubt they play music the way it’s so loud in there. We will be back. I’m just nit picking here. The prices are high but you are getting what you pay for. Soooo good. Oh they charge for using credit card.

Great food and service. I ordered crab stuffed shrimp which came with mashed potatoes and veggies. The veggies were zucchini and squash. When asked what other veggies they had, they said they only had asparagus for a $4 upcharge. I found the lack of options regarding sides a turn off. Which is why I deducted one star. But it was still great food. Also, my dad ordered apple pie which wasn’t that good at all. The icecream was good (when is it not though).

Dined at Chowder House for the first time and was very impressed. I ordered the crab stuffed shrimp scampi and the clam chowder and it was excellent. Our waiter was an attentive and knowledgeable man who helped us make food recommendations and persuaded us into dessert, (salted caramel cheesecake) which I do not regret. Can't wait to return.

What an amazing combination of excellent quality food prep and perfect customer service and a menu with many perfect choices and a beautifully designed restaurant! Our excellent server, Edward, was very prompt and full of suggestions and daily specials. He quickly answered all our questions and gave us his recommendations politely. I was very impressed by his service and complimented him often on the same. We started with recommended cocktails, then a dozen raw oysters and the house specialty’s clam chowder. I then had the Coquille St Jacques which was amazing. Then my wife had a wonderful seafood pappadelle combination with lobster, shrimp, and scallops, with an amazing new item for us - Ohio City pasta. This pasta was fantastic - cut wide but very thin, and wow what a taste! I ended with the scallops risotto which was also excellent. I would be back to this amazing restaurant every week if it wasn’t 8 hours from our home, but I hope y’all try it now and come back often.

Great food, nice atmosphere. Make a reservation. It was packed when I got there, and was fortunate to get a seat at the bar. Google had the prices listed as 2 "$" but I'd say more like 3. Will definitely go back.

Excellent seafood. My mom is French and the Coquille Saint Jacques was as good as she remembered from southern France. Claire was an excellent server. The blueberry cobbler left room for improvement. Highly recommend the restaurant and seafood.
