There is nothing more obnoxious than fries that are not fully cooked. They looked good but they are not cooked! The rest of the food was okay, pulled pork really good but I hate half cooked starchy hard fries! Also, the lady who handed me my container was running her nose a lot. It’s a pandemic, stop touching your nose and peoples food.

Very hospitable, spoke with the young lady who took my order and had informed me over the phone prior to my visit about what was available, pricing and etc. I'm from NC, and lived there a majority of my life. Grew up with the best BBQ makers in the world and with a name like "Old Carolina" I was expecting at least something comparable. It was spectacular, the smell in the air of the restaurant was an amazing addition to the atmosphere of the establishment and the friendly demeanor of the employees really helped. On to the food, I ordered for $14 a two meat plate, which I chose baked beans, Mac'n cheese, and they give a side of cornbread. The meat was pulled pork. It's served dry and they have a "Sauce bar" where you can choose your own sauce. I am from the Piedmont so once I saw there was a sauce claiming the name I had to try it. I was not disappointed in the slightest, the meat was cooked very well, you can really tell they took effort into the process of a 12 hour smoke, the sauce tasted like home. I've lived in OH for 2 years now and can faithfully say this was the best $14 I've spent in my time in OH on food so far. I would highly recommend if you want some good NC style BBQ to give this restaurant a shot. I forgot to take a picture of my meal beforehand but couldn't help myself from digging right in.

My honest review. Food was just okay at this particular location. I orders a platter that included ribs, pulled pork ,3 chicken wings pulled chicken, and brisket with 2 side dishes. First off.... the brisket was extremely dry the pulled pork was cold. The ribs were really good and the wings are outstanding i substituted the pulled chicken for 3 more wings but I originally wanted to substitute the pulled chicken for a leg quarter and i was even willing to pay any additional upcharge but they acted as if it was an issues to do this. The mac and cheese was really cold not warm at all and that baked beans was hot and warm. If I had to do it all over again I would probably just drive to the canton location never had an issue with that location.

We ordered slabs of ribs, chicken wings, baked beans, hush puppies, and french-fries. Everything was exactly as it should be, excellent BBQ.
I ordered at the counter and they put together this decent-sized order in about 10 minutes, no problem.
I was happy they were so efficient, as I had just been to City BBQ Fairlawn and they were out of ribs by 5 p.m. It made no difference that I placed that order well in advance. This left me in a bad spot, as I was buying food for a small party. Ridiculous.
Old Carolina has earned my repeat business. They saved the day.

This place has been consistently good until recently. I walked in and they refused to serve me. They have employment issues. I have come there for years. I don’t know if I will be back now.

$37 for two adult meals and one kids. Ribs were dry and tough. Good BBQ does not work well in a fast food chain...

They catered our Grandsons first Birthday party and we were very happy we had chosen Old Carolina. Everyone at the party thought the food was great!
My son in-law even made a trip out to get containers for our guests for leftovers, for there was plenty of food.
We ordered the shredded pork, chicken, hushpuppies, cornbread and coleslaw. The order came with a variety of sauces and buns.
My family will be using them again and we will recommend them to our friends!
