A huge shout out to the Hinners for bringing such a fresh place to the capital district. Perfect blend of fabulous beautiful food and a mellow atmosphere that doesn’t break the bank! Also, I’m not a beer girl, but I’m obsessed. Highly recommend. Will def be back!

Great beer list, the food was incredibly tasty and made with fresh ingredients. I was there just a few minutes before kitchen was about to close and the staff did not hesitate to place my order, and she did with a smile :-) Service was great, ambiance is very chill, cool light fixtures and very clean place. Highly recommend.

My partner and I were both impressed by Albany Ale. Although we don't drink, it was still a fantastic place for dinner. Food was fresh and perfectly prepared - quickly. Oysters were great, the watermelon gazpacho was refreshing and the Caprese sandwich was delicious. I am bringing my cousins here for dinner next month. We are very fortunate to have such a quality establishment in the neighborhood.

Love the number 1 and the number 20 on the beer list . I got the Cobb salad and the meatball sandwich which were pretty damn good . Erin is always my server when I go , she's the best !

Great atmosphere, food, and the beer list was terrific. You can even leave with some of the beers on tap from their cooler selection of cans and bottles.

Fresh and tasty $1 oysters, above average (think gastropub) food, and what is likely the best beer list in the Capitol Region. What's not to like?

Stopped in on the way home from Montreal. Exceptional tap list and a very good selection of rare bottles to go. The food was fantastic....possibly the best Reuben I have ever had! Highly recommend!

From Monique: Ya'll put a hurting on those PEI oysters and the cider and kale salad with shrimp were great too. Great service to top it off!

Great little hip place with indoor/outdoor seating, a full bar, and beautifully prepared food. We really enjoyed the cheese plate, lobster Cobb, and French Dip. This may become our new tradition when we visit Albany.

We got the surfboard and buttered lobster roll (pictured). Both were fabulous! The wait staff were professional and attended to our every need. Although I didn't drink any of their beers, my friends said they were superb. Definitely an awesome spot, will go again!

Large beer selection (24 taps) but they were out of 4 of them. Also they had tons of sours on tap, which I don't care for.but if that's your thing then you'll love it. Oysters were great (according to a friend) but vegan (or even vegetarian) options are a little lacking.

I haven't been out to eat with a friend since before Covid started so I was looking forward to going and it did not disappoint! We were able to get a table outside on this nice sunny day. Our waiter was pleasant and able to tell when we needed something or didn't. I had the strawberry basil lemonade which was tasty but not sure I would pay $10 for it again because it tasted pretty week. I got a dozen oysters for $1 each on Sunday's which is a steal! Super fresh. I then had the warm lobster roll which was loaded with lobster meat. Accompanying it was a peanut noodle salad and chips. We took our time eating, drinking and chatting and never felt rushed even though it was a busy day. No complaints! Can't wait to go back again.
