What a great bakery and staff. I don't live in town and needed to order a birthday cake for a friend's birthday to be picked up by her parents. Fiorello Bakery was able to accommodate my request, take payment over the phone for me, and made a custom cake just like the one I found on social media. My friend cried when she got the cake. BEST BAKERY IN TOWN, HANDS DOWN!

Everyone goes to the bakery of their choice and this one ranks up there right along side of them. They make great Hot and cold subs and sandwiches and wraps with salads for your lunches and breakfast sandwiches and a deli with quality meats and cheeses sold and a great variety of cookies pies and to boot they cater for events that you have upcoming. The staff is friendly and helpful a must try if you are down this way.

Seriously the absolute best breakfast sandwich in the Albany area. Pro tip, call ahead, they get busy or take the time while you wait to pickup some awesome bread, italian specialties etc.

This place is Absolutley disgusting. Walk two doors down to the right and go to “fiorello & Luigi importing” for much better quality food.

I'm leaving three stars because of the good service and friendly people.
However, the food left me unimpressed. I usually try different places when I'm in the area. Google search had this establishment come up within the first few options for Italian pastries. Since I hadn't had lunch, I decided to get a sub in addition to cannolies. Now I'm thinking this is a authentic Italian bakery and deli so I was pretty excited to have a good experience. I ordered an Italian combo sub. In retrospect I should have asked for more details but hey, I'm at a real Italian deli right?? I'm expecting all the great Italian cold cuts on this sub. I get home and bite into what was mostly a bologna sandwich with some salami. This was rather disappointing to say the least but, I still have awesome cannolies to look forward to still though right? Well, unfortunately the cannolies weren't very impressive either. The positive is the cannolies were freshly made and the shells were crunchy instead of the dreaded soggy cannoli. I was so excited to take that first bite, I feel the crunch and then my heart sank. The cannoli filling was very bland, lacking any flavor at all. To make matters worse,it tasted totally unsweetened. Do they put sugar in their cannoli filling? If they do I couldn't detect any. I know some people like sweet, some real sweet. This wasn't the least bit sweet but for the slight sweetness of the chocolate chips dipped at the ends.If your looking to satisfy a sweet tooth and looking for the traditional cannoli flavor's, I don't recommend the cannolies. Cannolies from Hannafords supermarket should not taste better than an authentic Italian bakery/deli IMHO.
This deli has alot of great reviews but this was not my experience.

The bread they make for the subs is the best I've had in the capital region. Fluffy, soft and delicious. There cupcakes were also a wonderful treat. I would highly recommend the funfetti! My girlfriend and I will definitely be back and this will be our first choice for subs. Staff was wearing masks and gloves. They were extremely nice and friendly. Highly recommend this place.
