Food is always good and fresh. I personally love the pepperoni. I have also bought a lot of sausage over the years and really like the pork chops also. I feel it is reasonably priced. Nice little local Gem.

Awesome. The wiener man Mike Cambell will happily abuse you. So many choices of sausage. Not sure why to have tell mike how your feeling and he'll make what you'll like.
The real deal. No grocery store sausages here...all made in house by Mike. Well worth the commute down from Salem for really good hand made sausages, hamburgers, pinwheels and bacon. And you can get a beer to wash them down with too! Paradise on a bun.

To Go Or Not To Go?. ...That was the question. For years I have heard the legend of Pepper Tree Sausage House... As the story goes, on one side of a raging river (Metaphorically speaking of course) have stood many-a-hungry persons; on the other, a wonderland of fresh sausages for a reasonably affordable price. Legend tells of a “sausage troll” who dwells under (and owns) the only bridge crossing the river. I had heard this troll could cut down the most valiant of hunger-knights with just a few snide remarks.Today, overcome with a craving for ground and spiced meats, I knew it was a journey I had to take. When I pulled in the parking lot around 12 today, the place was empty. I will admit that I was a little nervous walking into the small red building. I traditionally have a zero tolerance policy for bad customer service (see my Sam city review) but didn’t want to throw the baby out with the bath water and decided to give the restaurant and the owner a fare shot. Upon entering, I was greeted by the owner. He was (hit dramatic music).... downright friendly. I was floored, not only was this guy not a troll, but he was nice and took time to explain a few of the different sausages to me. I settled on the Portuguese Linguisa with heavy sauerkraut. My meal arrived on a toasted bun and the owner directed me toward the condiment bar where horseradish, onions, pickles, ground mustard, and all of the other acid-reflux causing items were located. The Linguisa had a really nice Hot and Spicy kick to it which was perfectly cooled by the fresh sauerkraut! As I ate my meal, my eye caught a clipped “letter to the editor” on the wall that spoke of the same things I had heard, In essence that the owner is “a grumpy old fart”. I thought it was funny that he had it hanging up in his dining area which leads me to believe that this man is, perhaps, just misunderstood. I will most definitely be back. If you are in the area, I highly recommend you give em’ a taste.
Awesome!. We went to this little restaurant with about 5 people and took up the tiny table inside. We fit but barely. it's small but the food is GREAT! I really enjoyed my sausage which was one of the garlic ones. I bought some sausage to take home because I was so impressed. My friends and I had an open fire BBQ while we were camping with the sausages we bought and really enjoyed them. I would go again.
Out of the way and tiny, but great sadwiches and sausage and worth the effort. Owner/cook tales great pride in his work and meals. The place is so small that interacting with the staff and other customers is not only unavoidable, but half the fun.
Oh man! What can I say about this place. So many good things. The best breakfast burritos for the best price. The crew is awesome and always friendly. Gotta love Dave! Anyone and everyone should try this place! 10/10 would recommend
The best sausages. Whether you are getting a sandwich for lunch or a package to take home they are delicious. Great choices. From hot to mild and everything in between. Other meats also. They got us our prime rib for New Years. It was beautiful! Dave and Josh do a great job. Week wouldn’t be complete without a breakfast burrito from Peppertree.
Cute little place with amazing sausage sandwiches!! I got garlic and mustard while my friend ordered polish kalibasa. Very flavorful and tasty!! Great service too!!

Been coming here for almost 30 years. Never have I ever had anything to disappoint me. I'll be honest was a little scared when David took over, but excited Mike was allowing his legacy to live on. David has been nothing less than extraordinary behind the grill. I will always support these guys. They are amazing.
WONDERFUL! A Hidden Gem! Awesome service, I had so many questions having never been to a shop like that he had no problem answering everything they told me if I had any other questions to please call him. Now that's customer service!
