You won't be disappointed when choosing Range Cafe, and you absolutely will not leave hungry!! There's something for everyone, the menu isn't overwhelming with selections, exactly right, actually. Queso is a bit thick, but better thick than runny. The Range chicken is packed with flavor, black beans and rice are excellent accompaniments! Chicken fried steak isn't the star of this visit, but the green beans that were the veggies of the day and partnered it, were spot on! Cooked perfectly, great texture and yummy flavor!!!! Mashed potatoes are housemade and enjoyable. Dessert had to be taken to go because there was NO WAY to fit it in after main dishes! Chocolate Coconut Cream pie us to die for, great crust, and wonderful flavor as well as texture!!! Server, Katy was friendly and effective, every employee had a smile and added to a pleasant experience. Will absolutely return! Do give Range Cafe a try, you'll be glad you did!

First dine in meal in months. Seating limited to 50% capacity in this cozy air conditioned restaurant. They have all sorts of antique kitchen appliances on display adding to the atmosphere. Had the fried chicken ranch salad and ice tea. So nice to be able to enjoy a meal out again. Will definitely be back.

Had the breakfast tacos and they were really good. The double tortillas tasted like they were fresh made. Cinnamon roll was the best I’ve ever had. Inside decor was really cool. Would love to go back for a non breakfast meal.
This place was recommended to me by a colleague. I had the braised shortrib with mushroom risotto. It was one of the best meals I've had in a long while! The shortrib was so tender, the risotto was cooked perfectly and the green beans were awesome. All of the staff was really friendly, as well. The next time I'm in Albuquerque, I'm definitely coming back!!

I had the carne adovada chimichanga with green chili on top and whole beans on the side. It was pretty good but the chimichanga was soft I prefer my chimichangas to be crispier but the flavor was very good. Service was excellent we had a very large party and they were able to take care of us no problem. They have pretty good prices here as well
The food was delicious as was my michelada. I was disappointed they didn't have the Picked Bloody Mary that the Bernalillo location has however. Friendly staff and central location. Huevos Rancheros were amazing and my friend enjoyed her Biscuits and Gravy. The meal is large so we will be full for awhile.

When I was pregnant I'd go to the range twice a week, now my baby is 10 months old and we still go once a month. I absolutely love the food and there is always good service. The cream puff is to die for and they have a secret named Cayla who is just fantastic! I love the range, especially the one on menaul!
A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. Best of the Best in all categories: food, desserts, atmosphere, wait staff, managers, gifts... We were in Albuquerque for four days and ate here four times!!!!! Wish they had restaurant Houston area!!!
Great find! Eclectic atmosphere with a diner inspired menu of terrific food and desserts. I got the Rio Grande Gorge with green chile sause - huge portion! Black beans, potatoes, and a beef patty smothered in white queso and green chili sauce all on top of flour tortilla. Yum! This place is on my go-to list for Albuquerque.
This is, without a doubt, THE breakfast place in Albuquerque! The food is fantastic. The atmosphere is 100% Route 66. I had Carne Adovada Huevos Rancheros, and it was AWESOME! Two eggs, pinto beans smothered in white cheddar, incredible slow roasted carne adovada, papas, and white flour tortillas. They have 3 locations now, and the Range is one of the most fantastic privately owned restaurants in Albuquerque. If you're looking for a place to have breakfast, absolutely try the Range Cafe! I can't imagine that you won't simply love the place!
Delicious Mexican food and terrific service!!!! Shared a combo and the appetizer trio (chips, salsa, queso, and guacamole!) Super delicious!!!!!!! Awesome service, huge menu with plenty of American and Mexican food to choose from!!!
