This place is a gem very much like a London tea its amazing. Very relaxing environment and the workers are amazing there, very soft and soothing voices love it. Every time I go I just love it more and more. And the food is so very good. The different themes they have every month is so much fun, really looking forward to the Christmas Carol theme 🥰

My first time to this establishment. My daughter, Kelly, recommended that I try it because she knows that me and her brother love tea and her mom and sister love snacks. Let me tell you, not one of us were disappointed! Themed high tea! Our theme was Narnia and the savory tea sandwiches, scones and sweet desserts were named after the characters in the movie. During the meal, three pots of different teas were brought in and served to us in delicate tea cups, lumps of white and brown sugars along with cream were on the table and I must say, my son and I had our fair share of tea! The each pot of tea was served at the perfect temperature for drinking and it was hard to decide which we liked the best! Now, you may think that one would not get full on finger sandwiches but we sure did and there was six in our party! There were several other parties there that day and the rooms were divided by heavy curtains which could be drawn so that there was privacy. Couches with pillows and comfortable armchairs let us dine in complete comfort and our server was simply the best and made us feel like nobility as did all of the staff! There was also a gift shop where I will be doing my Christmas shopping and a section where teas of all sorts were being on display for sale! This was truly a magical experience and I highly recommend St. James Tea House for birthdays, anniversaries, dates, mom and dad getaways and get togethers in general. Try St. James soon!!!!

Thos was the absolute best and most romantic place to take your lady! The food is so good. The presentation of everything was perfect! There was so much depth to the flavors of the food. The teas are amazing. If you're looking to fill her heart more than your stomach, this is the place. I'm already planning the next reservation. You can't go wrong with St James tea room!

This place is magical and unique. We never had tea time before, and this experience made me want to come back for more! The tea is amazing. Our favorite was the Daybreak Tea - I highly recommend it. We had the July menu, Tea in the Hundred Acre Wood, and all the savories, breads, and sweets were delicious. Our server, Sophia, was amazing. We will visit again!

My husband and I love the experience we have each time we book here. Being an avid reader, their themes are perfect. This is a wonderful place to slow down and enjoy life and each other. It is a pleasant place to leave the crazy and dark scene of the modern world and settle into the moment in peace. I gave a 4 on service only because when I inquired on a Spode tea set they carried (that matched dinner plates that I already have) the older women working the front area was dismissive and inconvenienced by my inquiry, so they lost the sale. Perhaps she assumed that my husband and I could not afford them. We had to order online at Spode instead of support local. It was a significant investment. Nevertheless, the rest of the people there were friendly as always. It is one of my favorite places to be in Albuquerque.

🧁🍵FOOD: satisfying and filling. Mostly sugary and lactose-heavy items, but I came prepared. I think you can pay extra when booking for just savory items. And I know they'd accommodate some dietary restrictions. ⭐SERVICE: if you want to be left TOTALLY alone, pretty sure that wouldn't happen, but the whole experience is lovely. Lucia served us my first time, and at least she was informative, inviting, and accommodating. I get the impression they all are. 👒🫖ATMOSPHERE: Honestly this (including in the shop area) may be my favorite part. I didn't get a good look at every room, but it's obvious they've really created a unique aesthetic. Antique shop meets vintage boutique meets BBC drama sitting room. Right up my alley in eclectic taste. ❤️OTHER NOTES: nice hand towels in the restroom and warm ones at the end of our experience that smelled of lavender or something similar, sugar cubes, free tea samples, and lovely items for sale at a wide range of prices put it over the top. ⚠️My ONLY true complaint is between the end of one experience to the start of another, it could get crowded. But I'd go again.

Beautiful experience! I love their monthly themes. My favorite is Recipes from the World of Wizards and my new favorite is from their new menu for July: Tea from the Hundred Acre Wood. Elijah was our server, he was very kind and polite. Excellent service.

This is an AMAZING place to visit, we did the World of Wizards theme and we were so impressed with this adventure. We really felt we were in another place and time with HARRY POTTER WORLD - highly recommend and a MUST DO AGAIN with other themes

St James is a must visit in Albuquerque. I make sure to come every time I visit. The food is amazing and the service is always incredible. This is definitely the best tearoom I have ever been to. It's perfect for date night or girls night.

I love St. James Tearoom. I always look forward to our visits there; the food is great, the atmosphere is pleasant, fun, and the service is usually beyond our expectations, except for the last time we went. The service was mediocre and that description may even be too kind. My sister and I have been there before, but our guests whose birthdays we were celebrating had never been there , so they did not have any reference as to what the service should be like. This was the first time we had a male server; no problem there, but he did not explain things in detail for our two guests, he was not engaging, and would have forgotten to bring our last pot of tea, if my sister had not asked for it. He acted as if he were going through the motions, but not really committed to the experience. Usually when we celebrate birthdays they ask the person whose birthday we are celebrating which was their favorite and is gifted a small bag of that tea. That did not happen and I don’t know if St. James has changed their policy on that. I also don’t know what state of mind the server was in or if he had other concerns; I only know that my sister’s and my experience was dampened by his attitude. Thankfully our guests were very happy and had a great time.
