Best seafood Mexican or otherwise in Albuquerque. Truly a gem! Anything we have ever tried has been FRESH and prepared perfectly. The fish, shrimp, octopi are tender and are our favorites.
Never mind your tired, your poor or even your huddled masses yearning to breathe free. Carlos Zazveta, the effusive proprietor of Sharky’s Fish & Seafood told us to bring our dogs, our cows and our goats next time we visit. That was after we explained we didn’t bring our children because they’re of the four-legged variety that barks. He was just kidding, of course. Carlos does that a lot. When he espied me taking pictures of the Sharky’s complex, he flashed a toothy grin and flexed his pecs from within the confines of the oyster bar he was manning at the time.
Great fish tacos. Tuesdays are my favorite at Sharkys! 3 fish tacos for $5 and they're so tasty :) The establishment is an outside eatery, with great food and wonderful staff. We met the owner during our last visit and he's down to Earth and puts his heart into his business. I highly recommend this place!!
A True Rare Gem!. A true rare gem called Sharkys Fish and Shrimp at the corner of Old Coors and Central! Amazing food for an amazing price, with amazing atmosphere, and amazing owner! Fried Zucchini, shrimp and fish tacos are filling, as they are delicious! Ask about the Mexican Skittles if you dare. ;) This is what South Valley food and culture is about. 11 out of 10!
Great fish tacos. It's not very convenient but worth the trip to Old Coors & Central to visit Sharkey's for some of the best fish tacos I've had in this town. They would be the best if I was eating on the beach in Mexico. I recommend making the pilgrimage to check it out. I wish I could tell you about the other things on the menu, but I've always had the fish tacos, well I did have a shrimp taco once, but I like the fish more. Tender white fish with a crispy batter freshly prepared with a variety of hot sauces in a warm corn tortilla, nothing unique about that except the proportions are perfect, it's hot and good with lots of flavor.

After a 2 year hiatus, I returned to Sharky's to find that nothing had changed. The food is still amazing and the service is friendly as can be. Do yourself a favor and get the baja shrimp and fish tacos!

I was happy to see that Sharkeys was added to Urban spoon . This place is the best for street tacos. The shrimp is always perfect in the tacos. A pleasant surprise for old coors and central. The owner is also a gracious host, Always a clean friendly environment we will be a regular
Sunday Dinner. Went to Sharkeys today for dinner. We ordered fish tacos, shrimp tacos, carne asada tacos and ceviche. It was all great! They make it all fresh from fresh ingredients. The owner Carlos is a great person! We will be back soon!
Sharky's has amazing food. I have eaten the shrimp burrito, the fish burrito and the chile caribe. All delicious. A unique place to eat.
I went to the Sharkeys food truck in North Albuquerque and man they had the bomb iced shrimp tacos. I’ve ever had absolutely delicious perfect texture flavor to die. I had to go multiple days for lunch just for the shrimp tacos the owner was super friendly, great atmosphere.
Laid back, casual and helpful staff!! Pointed out recommendations, food was served incredibly quick! Perfect spot to eat if you are hungry now and want food and a drink now !
Fabulous prices. Had the Fish Basket today-$10. Several pieces of juicy, tender lightly breaded fish. Last time I ordered the Ceviche Tostada. It was delicious and had a large serving of the Ceviche on the Tostada. Definitely a great value place for the prices. The place feels very local and I can't wait to start eating outside on their patio! Also, this sauce is the bomb! 🔥🔥🔥

This resturant has been here as far back as I can remember, and I have always felt uncomfortable eating seafood at small restaurants. This place came highly rated by a chef I know so we had to give it a try. Man am I glad we did! The fish tacos were one of the highlights and were soo fresh, light and just amazing. The fish was battered beautifully and had such great flavor! The Carne asada and el pastor tacos were amazing as well! We ordered the chili caribe which is a Jalapeño stuffed with cheese and wrapped in bacon and they were very flavorful as well. Another highlight surprisingly was their zucchini fries! These are some of the absolute best zucchini fries i have had and will definitely order them everytime i go. Went back 2 times that same week because we were craving this place! I also reccomend trying out their salsa bar as well as thier sauces at the table. They do have one familiar space "tapatio" but the others are not common at any resturant and are absolutely amazing! The outdoor patio with misters was nice and you dont feel like your in Albuquerque, but at a food dive along the ocean. Check it out!
It was amazing. The food was so fresh and prepared beautifully. Definitely an absolute favorite and a must try. The server is extremely kind. I was kinda shocked how fast everything came out considering we had ordered numerous large items. Also not to expensive.
Shrimp tacos, fries and the sonora hot dog are so good!!! Gotta try this place if you haven't!! also love the sauces they have

Sharky’s now has a food trailer location on Irving Blvd NE, just north of Coors. I’d never tried them before, but thought I would support a local business instead of the nearby Taco Bell, and I was not disappointed. I ordered some fish and shrimp tacos. They were prepared quickly, tasted fresh, and were crispy and delicious. It will be a go-to for us.
Excellent Mexican seafood. Wonderful outdoor patio with views of the Sandia. Staff are great. Michelados are the best anywhere. Highly recommend!!
If you're in the area, find this place. We were delighted to have fabulous fish tacos in the middlenif New Mexoco. No matter how much our friends laughed at us! Yes, the fish (fried) tacos were $3 each--they were delicious. The tacos came with two sauces, one spicy and one tangy. Both were great (the tangy was my favorite!) We found the staff to be fun and we loved the atmosphere of their out door eating patio. We highly recommend!!
The food here always leaves me happy! I come back everytime for fish tacos and Sonora dogs. Best in New Mexico <3 plus the music reminds me of home
First of all my wife and I really enjoyed our meal , the fish was very fresh and well presented.
The food is pricey however I feel as though that all the fresh fish is sushi-grade and you pay for that
Nice little place. Delicious tacos! Outside seating only but it is a nice covered patio. We had tried the shrimp, fish and pastor tacos. All of them were delicious! They also have a nice selection of salsas. We will definitely be back!
Some of the best octopus that I've had not sitting on the coast. Oysters and the shrimp burrito were fantastic also.
Went here for a family birthday meet up and the food was amazing perfect 10 out of 10 hands down the best spot to have tacos of any kind food was fresh and hot definitely come here for seafood

Just as good as I remember. Don't go here often because it's sort of far away. They have the best shrimp and fish tacos. Last time I went I didn't get the taco sauce, but I enjoyed them anyway.
Albuquerque isn’t known for its seafood but I think the Baja fish and shrimp tacos are as good as anywhere. The seafood tastes fresh and is fried to perfection. That quality costs money but for $10 plus drink, it’s a very filling lunch for me. This afternoon the owner walked the dining room asking patrons about their meals. I wish this place was nearer my office otherwise I would stop in for lunch more often.
