Moved here from TX via TN. Hard to find good food here (unless you love green or red chili’s). Thank God for Rudy’s. Tasted like home. Great barbecue and sweet tea! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.

Since we are from CA & there are no Rudy's there, we look forward to stopping there when we travel! We always buy our boys the rub & sauce & take them back with us! Our youngest son is the one that told us about Rudy's. We love the corn & last night we had the moist brisket for the first time! It was the best!!! A real treat!!

Love love this place! We eat here every Sunday. Brisket sandwich lean and trim the fat. I like the Coors location better. Carlisle has skimpy sandwiches. Love the potato salad. Best BBQ sauce!
I love Rudy's BBQ! Their moist brisket is to live for not die for ! Haha! I love Everything from here! There is nothing bad or haven't had a bad experience yet! There is a line sometimes but it moves rather quickly depending on the time you come in. Yummy would definitely recommend to anyone craving bbq! 😋
This has been the best Rudy’s and the best BBQ I have had between NM and CO. 1/2 pound ribs were the best I have ever had at any place, was plenty for 1. Pulled pork sandwich was good as it always is. They loaded us with sauce and we didn’t even have to ask. Included bread on our online order and that was a W. Beans and Potato Salad were on point!

I stopped by on the afternoon of Christmas Eve to order some takeout.
You could tell, from the what seemed like over a hundred to-go bags/boxes on the tables, that they had been working since really early. And they still were taking care of folks that would walk in with the same type of service they always provide.
I’ll of course continue to come back!

I have been a loyal customer of Rudy’s BBQ for a long time, and I always look forward to their delicious and satisfying meals. Their staff is friendly and attentive, and they make me feel welcome and valued. Today, I had the pleasure of being served by Michelle Y and Jennifer B, who were both professional and courteous. They took care of my orders promptly. accurately and checked on me regularly to make sure I had everything I needed.
I ordered the moist brisket sandwich, which was tender, juicy, and flavorful. The bark added a nice touch of spice and texture to the meat. The sandwich was filling and satisfying. I also got a breakfast burrito, which I love because they are easy to freeze and reheat. The burritos were packed with eggs, cheese, potatoes, and sausage, as well as some with chopped brisket, others with carne adovada and a nice juicy sausage, wrapped in a flour tortilla. It is a hearty and tasty way to start the day.
Rudy’s BBQ is one of my favorite places to eat in Albuquerque, and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves authentic Texas-style barbecue. Their food is always fresh, hot, and delicious, and their service is always friendly and efficient. They have a great variety of meats, sides, and desserts to choose from, and their prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity they offer. Rudy’s BBQ is a must-try for any barbecue lover.
We went in for takeout and got the pulled pork and brisket sandwiches. The meat was mouthwatering. The brisket was tender and there was plenty for two meals. The pulled pork was the same way - tender and plentiful. Of course, you can just have sandwiches! We chose creamed corn - perfection! Potato salad, always a favorite was our second side. It's a feast for two, and we had enough for lunch the next day. We've never walked away disappointed!
I was helped by a super friendly employee named Gorge. He was efficient and helped me through the ordering process. He also suggested items to replace items I wanted, but they were out of. The food was excellent as well. I got turkey, brisket, peach cobbler, and pulled pork. Overall, I had a great experience.
Great barbque, lucky to be there when they had their prime rib available (Thurs to Sun). SO VERY GOOD. Wait in line, but it is quick. They have a bunch of carvers slicing up the yummy meat to order. Sides are classic, grab your own. Next time, I will try the chocolate pudding, because there will be a next time.
In town for a couple of days and came here on a recommendation from a friend. Have to say that it was definitely worth the trip. The staff was friendly and helpful and even let us sample some of the items. I ended up getting the moist brisket, which was amazing. The only downside to this place is the a la cart price set up. I got a 1/2 lb of brisket, drink, small chocolate pudding, and small coke slaw for $20. It was delicious, but it wasn’t very filling. So if you’re hungry, drink some water before you come in. Your wallet will thank you.
Everything was delicious except the green chile stew. Not up to par . Everyone at the table tried it no one liked the taste . The sweet tea, creamed corn, banana pudding, pulled pork, potato salad, brisket and BBQ sauce were Awesome. That came also from the visiting family from South Carolina. Thank you
Originally I got some brisket that was pretty dry when I ordered 1LB of moist. I spoke up and asked for some and was not disappointed. The brisket was very good. Highly recommend you stop in and check out this Rudy’s

I ordered the brisket, which was cooked to perfection. The meat was tender and flavorful, and it melted in my mouth. The brisket was served with a variety of sides, including potato salad, coleslaw, and baked beans. The sides were all delicious, and they perfectly complemented the brisket.
The atmosphere at Rudy's Bar-B-Q is casual and family-friendly. The restaurant has a Texas-themed décor, and there is a large outdoor patio where customers can enjoy their meals. The service at Rudy's Bar-B-Q was excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive, and they made sure that my meal was perfect.
Went back yesterday and I was so pleased. The line was long, always a good sign that things are good, so I had time to observe the meat carvers and they were on top of things. Also saw them unload and reload the smokers. Nice. Staff was very attentive and checked on guests several times. The only thing was they did not discount the drink when you brought back you Rudy's plastic cup as the usually do. Not sure if that was a policy change or an error.
Meats are great and staff friendly. The meat carver messed up royally leaving both fat layers on brisket plus including fat end too. Had to take it home trim it and pan fry it like bacon to make it edible plus the loss of product I supposedly ordered. Very disappointed. Usually much better. Follow-up. Rudy's did contact and making efforts to improve. Thank you for your focus on quality and caring.
