It was just as wonderful as we expected. We are Oklahoma State people; so having watched Tyler pitch and hearing about Buffett’s candies, we planned our trip to stop and visit.
The carmels are delicious, the piñon rolls are a local treat and the pralines just melt on your mouth!
I highly recommend Buffett’s Candies!

So worth the purchse- delish candy and the Pinon is the best! Nice friendly atmosphere and customer service is very helpful. I go way back with Buffetts!!

OMG...OMG...OMG... Pinon Chocolate asst. Is to die for, my favorite is the Pinon toffee! The Pinon praline was very good, nice to break away from pecans and try something different. The best are the pinon nut rolls, I could have ate the whole box myself Will definitely order again!!!!
So soooo yummy. The workers are happy and helpful. It seems like we stepped back into a time where people were good at customer service just because being nice to people is...nice. It has been around forever and I love it.
Buffett's has been around since I can't remember. Had to drop in. Glad I did. They have unique candies and old time favorites. Plus an amazing sample. A gift givers paradise.

Can't wait for the new location early next year and all the exciting things they will have in store for us. I want to be able to see them make the candies thru the window and feel like a little kid in a candy store!
Al and all the crew help me take care of corporate gift giving too and they help me from start to finish with excellent service. I'm a little disappointed the pinon harvest was non-existent, because it is one of our favorites, however, Buffett's sticks to their guns about NM pinon only, no pine nuts of a lower quality.
I encourage you to support this and other local businesses!
I'm glad to hear that this location is growing. My mother-in-law loves the selection. This candy store has been around a while I was here one time many years ago delicious and wonderful candy when I was there the customer service was amazing and comfortable 😋 I would recommend this place again to anyone who wants to travel to the city. The location is easy to find the only issue is the homeless and addiction issues around the surrounding areas but they keep it very clean and respectful to society and those who visit the store. Sending prayers and positive thoughts to everyone who works at this location 💗 congratulations on expanding. God bless you 😀
Is not a buffet (restaurant)
It's a big building but the actual store is rather small, with lots of different chocolate flavors and not so much of candies, they also carry different flavor popcorn including green Chile, they also have seasonal candy/chocolate like pumpkin spice. Staff was really nice (2 ladies) they even offer a sample,5 stars on customer service, this is more of an artisan candy store so you won't find regular candies like m&m snicker gums or any other walmart kind of candy, as for prices, is not on the cheap side.
Delicious as Usual! My favorite has always been the Divinity they hand make. Stop by for a sweet treat, you wont be sorry! Yum!
The candy here is great. Some of the sweetest people work here. The girl that help us was one of the sweetest persons ever it’s not every day that you meet someone like this. Just a pleasure. We received free popcorn and the candy we purchased was fantastic..
Delicious chocolates, majority is made onsite. Some are shipped in from another small chocolate factory but all look and taste delicious. Tried a few and they were creamy, silky, great texture and full of flavor. Chocolate addiction is real and this place can satisfy those needs! Enjoy!
This is a SWEET candy store with lots to choose from. It is a "to go" store with no seating. Parking is right next to the building. The atmosphere is bright and airy and their signature logo color of red stands out! Our favorite candies are the Peanut Butter Meltaways, the chocolate COCONIT PATTIE, and the Gila Monsters! Delicious chocolate served with a smile!
My girlfriend is from Albuquerque and said this is a must stop in. They make their own candy and Pinon candy is in season. Al is the definition of hospitality. He gave me a sample and a sample to take to the car for my girlfriend, she was sitting with the dog. Needless to say they make great chocolate and I left with some chocolate. Will be back in before we head home.
We had to go to Buffett's this trip because we haven't been there since before the pandemic and were not disappointed. Al was our sales associate and he was excellent: personable, warm, friendly, and full of knowledge and suggestions. We will definitely be going back again for the chocolate and to interact with such friendly and welcoming people.
The two ladies working the counter were so helpful n sweet. Wonderful people. An asset to your store. I bought a lot of goodies but the green chile, red chile caramel popcorn, n green chile cheese popcorn was amazing!! Too bad i didnt try them when i was still in town. I would have bought more! So good. I will stop in everytime im back in Albuqurque.
