For quick, easy, fast-casual Chinese food, Szechwan is a good choice.
I tried their Orange Chicken lunch special, which came with fried rice and an egg roll for $8.20. I got mine to go, but they also offer a lunch buffet for $8.49 Mon-Fri from 11am-3pm and Saturday 12pm-3pm. The buffet has 10 options, then a fruit and jello station.
The to go portions were definitely enough for me. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality, as I’ve been disappointed by other Chinese restaurant choices in the area recently. I enjoyed the fried rice and orange chicken, and there was enough sauce to spoon into the rice, which I love to do.
I’d definitely go back for a to go lunch, and the prices are great.
Yo this joint is str8 gas⛽️ 🔥 the orange chicken and Pepper steak smackkk! The Thai tea was dope too amazing lunch buffet for only 9.15$ after tax!!!!!!! They kept refilling whatever food I asked for more of and very good service
Finally I found real delicious Chinese food!! Hands down the cleanest restaurant overall I have been in this year! I usually can finish my food but I actually had to take some home and the same for my boyfriend. They have a dinner special where you pick to entrees on the list also comes with fried shrimp, egg roll, chicken wing, fried rice and hot and sour soup or egg drop soup for $15.95 each person!
We got the menu in mail so we checked it for lunch i got to my kids are pick but everything was yummy. Portions were great my 6y old approved of the orange chicken. We will be back for the all you can eat buffet:)
I had to go to five different Chinese restaurants before I could find one that I really like. The food is the best here.. Also they don't use any MSG in their food. I don't get tired and sleepy after I eat here. This is the best restaurant I have found in Albuquerque. Also Steven is very friendly and helpful.
I placed an order to go. I arrived early and waited a minute before my food was ready. A Cold evening so I opted for soup hot and sour egg drop for my spouse along with 2 egg rolls. Delicious and still hot when I got home.
This place honestly has the best Chinese food I’ve had in Abq so far. The fried rice is great, the sesame chicken was amazing & the crab Rangoons are so so so good. Only time I’ve ever had an issue was thru door dash when they forgot an entree but I was quickly refunded. I will come here forever!
My first time here and wow!! Food was great and atmosphere is peaceful. This little place is just great!!! I would recommend!!

The potions are huge!! My husband & I ate our meals for dinner 2 days in a row!! I had the Kung Pao Chicken & it was the perfect amount of spicy, and the chicken was excellent quality. I hate getting Chinese food where the chicken is webby & fatty YUCK! We’ll definitely be going back again!
Eaten here a few times now, its a small strip mall place that is run by great people. They are very friendly and are honest and provide amazing customer service. The buffet is always fresh and delicious and the couple times ive ordered take home, the food was just as good and the order was complete. Highly recommend for anyone in albuquerque or anyone just passing thru!
Very good food customer service was really great very peaceful place to go and enjoy your time and meal 👍👍👍😎🍽️

Small but excellent food. I especially love the lunch buffet, friendly and professional staff. We go there once a week!
A choice Chinese Restaurant! My wife and I ventured out for a quick lunch but we were not in agreement on what we wanted, enter Chinese cuisine! Such a wide variety of preparation! We were in the neighborhood so Szechwan Chinese it was!
We arrived about 11:30 and the restaurant was not overly busy. We were greeted promptly, ordered, and were soon enjoying their lunch specials.
Soup is part of the lunch special and we both elected for Hot and Sour soup. The soup was served with crispy noodles. I could have made a meal of the soup! A nice vinegar-sweet flavor with a hint of spice. I turned up the heat with a few drops of Sriracha available as a table condiment. A nice selection of mushroom, tofu, wood ear, and onion, the fried noodles made a nice counterpart texture. Yum!
We were enjoying the afterglow of the soup when our entree arrived. My wife chose Sweet and Sour Chicken. I had opted for Chicken with Cashews. Both where served with fried rice, an egg roll, and a dipping tray with mustard and a sweet sauce. Being someone who can’t resist the heat, I dredged my egg roll into the mustard and was rewarded with a crisp egg roll shell and a eye watering hit of mustard. The veggies in the roll retained some texture. Wonderful! I turned my attention to my entree. The chicken was marinated, tender, and delicious. The accompanying veggies were cooked to perfection and they had not spared the cashews, total lunch time bliss settled on me! The fried rice was a great counterpart for the entree. My wife offered a few bites of her chicken. A crispy coating still existed under the sauce coating. Not too sweet with just a hint of spice. After finishing the mustard, I enjoyed the sweet sauce on my egg roll, a very pleasant, mildly sweet sauce.
We were served a fortune cookie for afters and we also ordered some almond cookies which came in a group of five. My wife enjoyed a cookie and brought the remainder home. The two meals and the cookies totaled $16 and change. Good food and good service!
When we walked in I was a little afraid because only one group was sitting at the 7 or 8 tables inside. But the place was very clean and its smelled really good, so we stayed.
We ordered and while we went through yummy soup and appetizers (the shrimp is to die for) we saw a parade of non- stop delivery and pick up orders. At least 15 or 16 in the half hour we were there.
The food was good. Not OMG I have to eat here everyday good, but definitely worth putting on our regular restaurant rotation good. The service was smiling and attentive. We will be eating here again soon.
This restaurant is worth the visit or the GrubHub/UberEats order.
I've been a loyal customer since I was a child..... frequenting with my sister, parents and friends. This is my absolute favorite. I do miss the atmosphere of earlier days with the fish tanks, traditional décor, register by entrance, but their food and service qualities have never ever disappointed. I held hands with my first love in there, (under the table so none of our parents would see) somewhere around 1990.🥰 One of my best memories ever.
We liked the buffet. It was a tasty, affordable lunch. The staff was friendly, though we didn't interact with them much (there wasn't much need due to the serve yourself nature of a buffet).
