Food is unreal and service is excellent! I had the French Dip and it had to be the one of the best I’ve ever had. Will be back soon to try other things on their menu.
I really enjoy eating here. Sadly, I don't always remember to eat here, but when I do I always have a great time. The food tastes great and has good portions sizes that are worth the money. Such a cute and friendly lil cafe! The staff is kind and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is quaint and has that small town feel. The sandwiches are excellent, and the salads are so fresh and always delicious. The soups are to die for, but make sure you come in early! A must stop while in ABQ.

I was trying to decide where to go for lunch and happened to notice this cafe for the first time. The window has "Love your Lunch" written in red across it and it was all the sign I needed. Such a charming and cozy place :) Ask the staff for recommendations if you aren’t sure what to get, I was recommended the sweet n’ spicy and it was delicious. Update: came back and tried the Reuben too, loved it :)
Sandwiches are good but the Green Chile Chicken Stew is GREAT and is the true star of the show. Roasted chicken, green chilies with just the right amount of spice to excite your taste buds without causing physical damage.
Cheese and Coffee is an Albuquerque fixture still owned by the sisters. I've been going there since I moved to Abq in 1987 and it's still the best place to get your favorite sandwich or soup. Get there early as the line is out the door by 11:30.
Advisory: you will absolutely love this place! I have to admit that I almost didn't post a review cause I wanted to keep this place close to my heart, but I would be doing a disservice to the amazing food, and the very personable staff.
