Best bakery in ABQ. excellent service. and the food is outstanding. I love Boars Head meats and cheeses. They always have new food and pastry specials. My new favorite is the Muffaletta. It is honestly the best I have every had. I get it with their potato salad that is beyond amazing with all the bacon in it!! Great place to relax and have coffee and treats. They also have a pet friendly patio.
Admit it. The second thing that comes to mind when you hear the term “Swiss Alps” is the scene from one of cinema’s most heartwarming movies. It begins with a distant camera drawing closer to a verdant mountainside backdropped by steep, snow-capped peaks. Soothing music grows louder as the camera pans in on a lone figure with arms outstretched. The chappeaued figure twirls and looks skyward as a voice in the background sings “The hills are alive with the sound of Griswolds.” Never mind that Clark Griswold’s dream sequence for the comedy classic European Vacation was actually filmed in the Austrian Alps, not the Swiss Alps.
Who's the favorite in the family?. I am! For the moment anyway... But I couldn't have done it without the help of a pumpkin and pecan pie for thanks giving. I think I would have sealed the deal if I had gotten that apple pie that was offered to me. But there's always Christmas. ;] By the way their crunchy chocolate chip cookies are lovely with a glass of warm milk. And their chocolaty brownies are sinfully awesome, they come with frosting, but I don't think they need them (they're that divine).
Very fresh and great selection. New Location!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. New Address!!!

Went first thing on a Thursday morning and had the Breakfast Quesadilla. Absolutely delicious! The large latte made the breakfast perfect. Service was great as was the atmosphere. We always take home some rum balls, cookies and other pastries that are also delicious.
The service was prompt and friendly but the food left a little to be desired. I got the pesto panini; it had a well baked and flavorful crumb but the turkey on it was bland and flavorless, the pesto shown through though. The spinach soup was good as well. All in all not regretful but nothing I'd necessarily rave about either

Always have a great time there, super warm and cozy environment and delicious baked goods, sandwiches, and drinks!! Excited to see what they do with the food truck (which still has quite a few sandwhiches). I will say I preferred the store prior to new management however it's still a solid experience.
An Americano is simple but the girl at the register made sure I got what I ordered and it was 10/10. Very friendly staff as well. I came in near close unknowingly and stayed a little past before I realized their hours. Didn't feel rushed at any point regardless
I enjoyed my visit there, I purchased some green chili apple pie and a German chocolate cake brownie both were very good
And they have a food truck right outside the cafe that serves some amazing sandwiches I got one of their Cuban sandwiches and it was delicious
I wanted to visit a bakery before taking off from New Mexico and I wasn’t disappointed! A small bakery with good pastries and food options as well as drinks. It was a nice place to visit.
Such a good spot to enjoy a CUBANO! Such friendly staff and great treats to eat. Will be returning! Keep up the good work❤️
WOW!!! Best bakery in Albuquerque. Had heard about this place about a year ago just have never been able to make it in (they close around 3pm?). Ordered several items out of the case because we could not decide on just one item (everything looked amazing!!!). EVEYTHING tasted as good as it looked... the carrot cake was hands down the best I had ever had, moist, dense, and so packed with flavor without being all about the sugar, but still sweet(not overly sweet like a Sam's club cupcake). The cream horn was my absolute favorite, it's kind of like a cannoli with the inside cooked some and then dipped ends, in chocolate, and some powdered sugar also... AMAZING! I cant wait to try their breads(they have alot to choose from) as well as their other pastry type items. They also have a decent size menu of sandwiches, soups, Misc items and salads.. Imagine if this place made sopillas and tortillas?!?! They would need a factory to keep up with orders lol
Cannot wait to go back!!! Great job Swiss Alps bakery and cafe!!! Thank You!!!
I love the ambiance of this restaurant - peaceful and holistic. The German Latte is wonderful- the chicken green chili quesadilla is home-made with fresh tortillas. We will be going back❤️
I had a sudden craving for something flaky and sweet so I swung by the swiss alps bakery but that describes half the pastries in the counter so she suggested a cream cheese turnover and it was so yummy! I come here whenever I need pastries or lunch and they always taste amazing! Seriously, everything they make is the most delicious thing you will ever eat.
Very charming and lovely, limited menu with lots of flavor. The bakery ranges from bread and scones to paninis and salads. The cubano is the best with extra pickles!
Ordered a custom birthday cake and not only was it really really good but they took time to give me options and make sure I got what I wanted. Everyone raved about the cake and it was beautifully done with attention to detail. That alone would make me go back for my next cake but also their prices are also really fair!
EVERY time I come here the food is great and the customer service is amazing! From the coffees and teas to all the different food, this place is a must. Don’t sleep on the breakfast because they have probably the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever eaten.
