I'm a Florida girl so I'm used to Caribbean restaurants on every corner. I was hyped to eat this food once I discovered it online. I got the jerk chicken, rice, sweet plaintain & beef empanadas---Writing about it don't do it justice, cos this food is terrific
Curry chicken was amazing! Jerk wings, beer and the patio DJ made for a great evening! We'll be back!!

I had oxtails in Atlanta that were supposedly the best in the city. They were good, but the oxtails I had here were so much better.

Food was fresh and so good! We got there about half hour before closing but that did not matter, service and food both still good. Bright and clean dining area with friendly staff.
I've only had the beef patties, and they were the best!!!! To a Jamaican, well half Jamaican, a good patty is like GOLD!!!! And this patty was GOLD!! Thank you for making me happy!!!! ���

The food was PERFECT! The jerk chicken, jerk pork , rice and peas, one tail stew was all TOP NOTCH! Also her Jamaican patties are bigger and filled with more meat than GOLDEN CRUSTS!!!
It’s been some years since I’ve been here. Been passing them by for some weeks now, so I said let me try them out today. I’m so glad I did the service was great and place was very clean. Food was hot and ready in a reasonable time. Thank You again for your wonderful service and food.
This is one of the most delicious Jamaican restaurants I been to. Fall off the bone jerk chicken wings, tender oxtail, and sweet plantains…Awesome flavor. My daughter picky 3 year old loved the food too. Would definitely eat here again
Oxtail, curry goat were perfect. Jerk chicken was a tad overcooked but still very good. The tilapia though was a pass, it smelled like fish that's been bottom feeding too long.

I have been searching for a decent authentic Oxtail and you guys did not disappoint! It was absolutely fabulous and worth every penny. It cost me the same amount to buy oxtail to prepare at home and it never has nearly the amount of meat. So worth it. Rice and peas were the best I have had in years. Even the vegetables (Cabbage and Carrots) were delish. 100% will be back for more. Also the gentleman who took care of me went above and beyond. The food was even steaming hot by the time I got it home (across the city).
I also ordered some Curried Goat. Now, I love me some bones but there were a lot of tiny bones and bone shards that left me taking more out of my mouth than I was putting in it. Picture shows some of the bone shards from my leftovers this morning, I did not think to take a pic last night. And, Yes I ate it (carefully), because it was delish!
Overall, I would try more on the menu but that Oxtail is gonna be pretty hard to not immerse myself in again, and again, and again.

The food is delicious tasting! Ordered drinks as well: Caribbean fruit punch and Caribbean red stuff. The staff and owner were very nice and also presented my husband and I with a sample plate while we drank our beer* waiting for our meals. We are for sure coming back! Thumbs up for us!

Good quality island food. The oxtails are up there with some of the best I've ever had. This isn't fast food so if you're pressed for time I'd recommend calling the order in & asking for an estimated time to arrive. Definately worth checking out
Nice spot if you want to eat something different...Oxtails, chicken patties, and jerk wings all pretty good!! Those jerk wings are 🔥🔥 they got some island heat!! Definitely a take out joint!!!
I was a little surprised to find a Jamaican restaurant in Albuquerque NM but I was so happy we decided to stop in. The food was fabulous and they do not skimp on the portions. I order oxtails with cabbage, rice, extra gravy and salad. The oxtail were full of flavor and fell right off the bone. They also have this lime salad dressing thats good too. Also I ordered the rum punch which was excellent! Be warned though, there is no rum in the rum punch, but they do have other beers and things you can order of your looking for an alcoholic beverage! If your in ABQ give this place a visit. Good customer service too. Oh and they also serve Spanish food 😁
They have a lot of potential. Reduce using cumin in every meal. The food because of the cumin, tasted more Mexican than Caribbean. I say trade the cumin for ginger and garlic and thyme, add a likkle maggi cube and boom. I liked my food but, like I said, lots of room for improvement. I'm from the Caribbean and always ready to support whenever I find a Caribbean restaurant.

Will be honest the portions could just be a tiny bit bigger. Left a bit hungry! I do tend to eat alot. Haha
My friend and I split an order of jerk chicken and curry shrimp. Both were very tasty but the chicken was on the dry side, which is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5.
This place is amazing, I'm from the Caribbean specifically Trinidad and Tobago. I never thought in a million years I would find a place that cooks Trini food and it be amazing in New Mexico. This place is so good, wanna say huge thank you to the owners/staff love it.....I Highly recommend this place.
Succulent food and great experience. I love my carribbean food. Just a lot of food. Wish I had space for the upside down pineapple cake. Going to take a couple of beef patties to go. I can have that for breakfast tomorrow. Lol. I almost feel like I was on the island!
