DG's Deli is by far my favorite sandwich place in ABQ. Their subs are high quality at reasonable prices with a very friendly and quick staff. I never have to worry about waiting more than 10 minutes to get a to-go and their sandwiches are always delicious, no matter the flow of customers at any given time. The classic philly cheesesteak is filled with juicy and flavorful meat with the right balance of all the veggies and cheese mixed into it(their green chile philly is also great when you want to spice it up). Their BLT is fantastic as well. They don't let you down on the amount of bacon they put into it, which is always a plus for a BLT. I once went with a friend who got the BBQ chicken sub and he said it was amazing. The choices there are almost endless with fresh ingredients every day. The FOH staff is always friendly when I come in to order. Jenny is always fast with my transactions and never forgets anything when it comes to my to-go orders. I'm a student at UNM so it's nice to quickly go in and grab something without having to worry about being late. Overall I give this place a 5/5 and I'll keep coming back.

DELICIOUS! Their Reuben especially! I do recommend you call ahead of time, as sandwiches made with TLC take time. I will definitely return!

One of the best sandwich places in town. Got to get that green chile philly or the Lobo club.

The atmosphere is fun and retro and it's great for the walking distance from UNM.

Tucked away by a senior living center is this great hole in the wall! When they aren't busy the rate of speed is comparable to fast food. Only difference? It's fresh ingredients and friendly service that cooks in front of you. The atmosphere reminds me of someones house. The food is at a great price. I had the Red Chile Philly and my girlfriend had the Spicy Melt. Highly recommended

I love this place! The atmosphere reminds me of someplace I might see back home (Richmond, VA) and the sandwich I got was awesome. I'm not sure why anyone would go to one of those big chain sub shops when we have this place.

Best Sandwich Ever!. Today was my first time to ever eat at DG's Deli, and I loved it!! It's a quaint little deli that serves delicious Boarshead meat on a fluffy french baguette, the Green Chili Philly is to die for! I couldn't get enough, so I ordered a sandwich on the way out, the Lobo Club on the sliced wheat bread, a cold triple decker I'm saved for an early dinner. The cashier was nice and everyone was really friendly, I absolutely recommend this little deli!

Best Reuben Sandwich West of NY!. This place is a hidden gem in the Albuquerque restaurant world! Best reuben sandwich I have had outside of NY! Real Jewish-Rye bread, corned beef, swiss and russian dressing! Be sure to visit this place if you're not a local AND if you are! 10/10.

Great food and atmosphere!. I love their green chile phillys!! Extra onions and extra mushrooms... so good. The posters all over the walls are awesome too. Marilyn Monroe, Alex from A Clockwork Orange, Iron Maiden, NWA, Pink Floyd... they have everyone up there. Great place!

Horrid Parking. They have a great Phily and they are one of the best sandwich places in town but I avoid this place due to the small amount of parking.

DG's is the Bomb!. Pizza steak sandwich here is unmatched by any I've had. Thinly sliced ribeye grilled with pepperoni and add sauce and cheese. Just awesome! You can eat it 3 days a week, like me!

Great Sandwiches!. DG's is a small, neighborhood deli with delicious sandwiches. The place itself is not much to look at and service can be a little shaky at times. But the sandwiches are really delicious. One of my favorites is a "Dagwood" style sandwich called a "Jersey Joe". It is a triple decker sandwich of turkey, roast beef, swiss cheese, bacon and cole slaw!! Yum! If you aren't sure what to get, the menu is loaded with specialty sandwiches, all of which are excellent. The best part about their hoagie style sandwiches is the french bread! It is superb! This is one great little out of the way place for lunch and it is just a few blocks from Presbyterian Hospital Downtown!

Founded in 1994, DG’s Deli is an Albuquerque lunchtime favorite for throngs–as in lines extending outside the door to place their orders–of sandwich lovers. Between 11AM and 2PM, this converted grocery market is the haven and hang-out for hungry health care professionals from nearby hospitals, police officers, students and professors from the university, car dealers and just about anyone who craves the appetite-sating comfort of a very good sandwich.

Sammie was slappin with flavor. It also had an internal volcano that kept it sizzlin the whole time I ate it. Highly recommend the Southwest steak and Pastrami Melt. Jumbo is totally worth the upcharge.

Food was delicious. I had the Reuben. The family had smoked turkey and ham sandwiches. Ingredients were fresh. Atmosphere was way cool. Our son's Dr. Is right down the street. This will now be our lunch spot when we go to appointments.

Wow. I missed this place somehow but won't again. When you enter the deli, which is one of the top, if not the top delis in Albuquerque, you will be overwhelmed by the number of sandwich options and sides available. They can be served hot or cold, and the sides are delightful. They serve breakfast as well. The decor is old posters, concert posters, and abulm covers from decades of music. There are plenty of options on drinks. The cookies are delicious.

Decided to try this after seeing it on the map being near where I had to pick something up from someone. What a little treasure! Quality ingredients, a huge selection, reasonable prices and very fast. I had the #7 and the #20 and both were wonderful. Such good meat, plenty of condiments, and the bread is utterly delicious. We'll be back in a couple days to get more for a picnic. Cute Rock-style decor and they deliver. highly recommended! EDIT: Went back a few days later and got breakfast burritos (9-11am only). Delicious! Lots of bacon and cheese, green chili wasn't too hot, and a good size for the low price. Wrapped in foil, they stayed really hot! They were the perfect start to our road trip that day.

The food is really good and the prices are reasonable. The problem is with the wait time, forty minutes for a sandwich. The lady taking orders said it was going to be a wait time but I never expected this much time. I noticed that the grill person, a young man, couldn't with the pace of the orders. The older guy doing the sandwiches kept helping the younger man in the grill but then the younger guy kept moving stations and not stay in his position. I then noticed that he put cheese on my sandwich when I ask without cheese, the older guy noticed and told him and the younger guy didn't know what to do. They need to retrain their workers to keep up with this kind of fast pace because their wait times would be lower than forty minutes.

Probably one of the best Philly steak sandwiches I have had in New Mexico. The steak and the onions were great the bread was a bit crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside absorbing all the juices from the meat 🙌

A great sandwich shop my mom introduced me to years ago. I rarely stop by anymore, however when I do the sandwiches taste like I remember. I especially appreciate all the Eddie posters hanging on the wall.

Pretty good sandwich. It was made fresh and I didn't have to wait too long. The potato salad wasn't the best, but good. The staff was super Friendly and the place was very clean. I had a cold sandwich, next time I will try a hot sandwich. I will be back!

One of the few places not participating in price gouging! Killer subs, at prices that are better than their fast food counterparts.
