You know how you sometimes Chinese food feels like junk food? This is NOT like that! South China is so delicious, and the food feels healthy and good. They actually take care with the vegetables, which I really appreciate. Also, it is a pleasure to eat in the actual restaurant, which is clean and bright. We've been going for years, and it's ALWAYS good. By far and away my favorite Chinese food restaurant in Albuquerque!

Love it!. South China is great! The food is always great(especially the tofu dishes) and fresh tasting, the prices are very reasonable, and the owner and her two daughters are so kind! Definitely recommended.
Great food for a great price!! My boyfriend and I stopped in for general Tsos and crab Rangoon and it was amazing!! This is our new favorite place to eat our favorite dish and appetizers. The staff are very friendly and outgoing and the place is beautiful inside. Highly recommended!! Thank you so much.
I have been going to South China for years now. They have the best Chinese food in Albuquerque. My favorites are the Chicken Chow Mein, beef fried rice, sweet & sour chicken, and Kung Pao Chicken. Their egg drop soup is also the best! I keep trying other Chinese restaurants but no where else compares. South China is the best! And the owner is always friendly and welcoming! I absolutely recommend eating here for great Chinese food!
South China has awesome food. It was cold outside and the food served was just right for warming up. Love to dine at this restaurant. Update 2/28/2020 Tried the seshwan chicken. It was amazing! Try this you will love it.

I ordered the General Tso’s chicken combination dish for takeout and was surprised at how generous the portion size was for the price. The food was fresh, hot, and tasted great. The owner was super friendly and personable. I would definitely recommend this business. After a long day, it was perfect!
I've been looking for good Chinese food for a long time and I'd almost given up until I ate here. Most Chinese restaurants I've been to seem use poor quality ingredients and doesnt taste good. Here eveything tasted fresh and delicious! It has great and friendly service. The portion sizes are great and reasonably priced too. I definitely plan on coming back here again and I recommend eating here.
Been frequenting this restaurant for years. The meals are all delicious and the lunch specials are awesome. So much food for the price. Family owned and run "hole in the wall", such a great find!
We came on 30 minutes before closing and still got served great food by a super nice lady. Will return whenever possible.

A traditional Chinese restaurant. Had their sweet and sour chicken even though I had ordered the shrimp it was still delicious. Good service. They have a lunch menu with very cheap prices.

The owners are very kind, and the food is great. My family and I go very often, and enjoy ordering and sharing multiple dishes, as to sample a little of everything. The food is so good that we often can't decide a favorite, which is why we all share our favorite dishes. The portions are also very generous, so South China is a great place to go for a lot of food without emptying your wallet. I recommend 11/10.
