I think this is a great little Italian restaurant. For a few minutes, I forget I'm in Alexandria. I have had one of the spinach breads, which I loved. I have also tried the Mardi Gras bread....super delicious!! Very rich!! I enjoyed the calimari as well. I normally order the fettucini primavera and I always enjoy it.
Everytime I go here the food is excellent, everything is prepared fresh and is served hot. The pasta dishes have wonderful sauces and the steaks are always cooked per order. This is my go to restaruant for my birthday or other special events or dates. I love it and the atmosphere is quiet and romantic, great place for dates.
Great atomosphere! Good food!
Love the Marsala. Even if the marsala is somewhat inconsistant it is still one of my favorites. My Husband loves the lasagna.
Great food, good atmosphere. I've been to this restaurant many times and have never had an unpleasant experience. I do think they have a few menu items that aren't spectacular, but they make one of the best steaks I've ever had. Their mardi gras bread is delicious, as well as their warm spinach salad. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates a quiet cozy atmosphere and good food.
Sangria's sooo good, you won't remember!. This place, with the help of the lovely Jamie, make the best Blanco Sangrias. My favorite dish is the Steak Wendy, which comes topped with crawfish augrat! Yum!
Good Italian food. I've eaten here many times. The prices are moderate, portions are generous, and the atmosphere is great, especially after dark. I don't come here looking for a quick bite to eat. The food has always been excellent, hot, fresh and good. The shrimp / eggplant pirogues, seafood artichoke, and alfredo pasta w/ mushrooms and onions are particular favorites. Nice variety of wines, too. I've never experienced bad service or "out of stock" issues.
A perfect retreat. The restaurant looked out of our price range but the 100 plus degree weather said otherwise. Immediately upon entering we were met by beauty. The surroundings the wait staff were helpful and appreciative of our plight. She insisted to look at a menu. Upon looking i was amazed at the complexity of dishes. We bought dinner and appetizers and dessert. though the prices were not low the portion sizes were huge! monstrous! every time we came back we never did split anything we wanted the variety. Truly if I were to open a restaurant I would ask to take up the Bellino's name. I was that impressed.
Great food and very affordable. Friendly service as well.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Italian sausage and the Chicken Parmesan!
THE CHICKEN AND SAUSAGE GUMBO---SOME OF THE BEST EVER, TOO!
Great service. Good vibes. Creative art work is displayed, too!
They are only opened 2 days a week: Thursday and Friday.
I certainly can't wait until I get to try their meatballs--the establishment runs out of them very quickly.
Great place for dinner in Alexandria. Old school, red sauce Italian food with steaks and an appreciation for Louisiana ingredients. Go for dinner, get there early and have a drink at the bar. Stay too long and talk to the lovely staff and owners.
So far Bellino's is my favorite restaurant in town. I am always satisfied when going there. Pasta, steaks, oysters, and shrimp and grits are amazing. I recently got engaged there and I could not have asked for a more perfect restaurant in town to get proposed to at. The ambiance is romantic with dim lighting and a cozy feel. The mixed drinks are good and strong.
I had lasagna. Tons of meat and sauce, b-i-g portion. Enough for 2 people. Dessert we ordered the pumpkin cheesecake, delicious!
Food was very good this evening. Lasagna portion huge, enough for two. Shrimp scampi superb. Excellent bread pudding.
Service slow. Cozy atmosphere. Music too loud for me.
Recommended. Will return.
