Good service at the drive through. I really liked the fried shrimp poboy and I had a huge side of fried okra, which I loved. I don't get to Alexandria very often, but when I do, I always try to find time for a stop here. It may not be the cheapest place to eat, but I really enjoy it.
Food was good for the most part. Ordered several things, including the surf and turf poboy. Roast beef was gritty. Ate the shrimp off the sandwich. Am usually a big fan. Everything else was really good.

Flew in to Alexandria and heard about Po Boy Express. The sea food was fresh and the bread came from New York. Jimmy was very friendly and treated us with so much care. Will definitely go back. Highly recommend!
Every time we go the employees are a joy. The sandwiches are huge! I'd split one if my hubby would eat the same sandwich or vice-versa. The meat or whatever you choose, is thick. You know you got an sandwich from them.
There are specials on certain days. They might be more expensive but SERIOUSLY
