Review Ted's Coney Island - Allen Park

Great food! I got the 2 triangles daily special, swapped for two pancakes. Eggs and bacon were perfect, coffee was good. $7 total! Left a good tip tho, cuz the waitress was awesome, and there was a dude (cook or owner not sure) that would randomly help her bus the tables. Seems like a good work environment too, which factors into my outstanding rating, One negative, the table needed to be balanced, kept rocking and threatening to spilling my coffee, but hey coffees bottomless. Lol

After my friends stopped working there, I stopped going! But I decided to give it another try… I honestly wished I didn’t, I don’t know what their doing in there but, it’s a complete wreck!! I told the woman my order,easy! When I got it back it was horrible!! I told the waitress this and the cook (she was a woman) literally started going on me! I was stunned!! After that I just decided to pay and leave:(

This is my first time eating at this establishment. I called in an order at around 4:30pm on Sunday, the person answering the phone was nice and patient. I was ordering take-out for my family so we ordered a louies super omelette, greek taco, teds coney special, classic club supreme, and 2 mixed berry french toasts. The order only took about 20 minutes to be completed. The food was delicious. Everyone was very pleased with what they ordered. If you are in the area I definitely recommend eating here.

All I can say is omg this was very tasty food. Very nice portions. Next time I will post pictures.

Love the coneys don't know how to cook eggs to we're they are not slime.tost was hard in cold .hash browns were not great no flavor to them at all and they were cold or just getting off of the stove

Ordered a loose with mustard and onion no Chile for my wife. Yes there was chili on the loose and their fries are not that great according to my wife. I will send my wife over to show the cook how it's done next time.

Literally one of the worst experiences we've ever had. Ordered a skillet with eggs over medium. The first thing that was brought to me was corned beef hash out of a can, not even a corned beef skillet with hashbrowns like I ordered. Then she remakes it the first time to the right skillet, with barely cooked over easy eggs when I ordered over medium. The whites were extremely runny & I'm pregnant-so I'd like my eggs cooked please you know... 🍳 The waitress reordered to make my food several times but I didn't feel comfortable asking my waitress to get behind a stove! So I said it's ok, because that's the cooks job. The cook is rude, she came out disputing with my husband saying she cooked it just the way it was powered, or she "would have re made it" but....never did come get the plate & offer to do so after the first mishap. I would just save yourself a headache & some money & go somewhere you know you like.

Food was rushed French toast was not cooked all the way I was also overcharged if you decide to come here make sure you check your receipt and your food before you leave I asked for powdered sugar in it was only a sprinkle dingles put on it and the sausages taste freezer burnt do not come here if you want to enjoy your meal

Asked for Raison FRENCH toast and received just regular raisin toast. When I called and complained the employee taking my order didn’t even know the menu well enough. I heard her asking if what we asked for was even on the menu. When returning to Ted’s, there was attitude and not friendly customer service.

Best little coney island in se mich., they treat you like family from the first time you walk in the door, and the food is fantastic

This is my go to spot... My family loves the food and the entire staff is amazing!!! Totally makes you feel like your at home eating with family ❤ I am constantly telling everyone to come eat here. Thanks to my sister Im hooked.

I've been coming to this place for as long as I can remember and have always had a great time food is always good and so is everyone there!

I wish I would have saved my Money and stuck with Taylor Coney island down the street. I had probably the worst breakfast you could think of, I ordered the " Teds skillet" it came with a half piece of sausage n some lil baby chunks of ham(maybe like 3 chunks). I would not recommend this sh!t hole. Service wasn't to good either.

My family and I just happen to stop in for first time during the street fair and though the a/c was out, we felt bad for the staff....the food was excellent and the waitresses were very nice. We had no idea about this gem, so will be going back. My 81 yr old mother in law loved her philly steak, she raved about hrs later.

The best place in town. Great staff. Feels like family.

The Greek Sauce is amazing ,the staff is very friendly, loved it .
