My husband and I come here often as we both love the "whole package"! The owner, Dan, is extremely nice and goes out of his way to make the customers happy. We have had their pizza, lasagna, spaghetti, ravioli and do not forget to try the Honey Jack Salmon!!! The salads and fresh deep fried mushroom are great to get before your meal as well. The wait staff is wonderful and we always look forward to seeing Mario as he is such a pleasant waiter.

Absolutely horrible place. Food was atrocious, either burnt or cold. The "shrimp scampi" consisted of soggy, frozen shrimp over buttered noodles.
6 meals excluding the pizza were not edible and left uneaten.
After making a complaint with the waitress (after getting our meals one at a time), the owner/manager/cook didnt have the decency to come out and speak with us. What a dump. Please close your doors so a worthwhile restaurant can utilize that building. Ugh.
The Real Truth
Been coming here for a few months now, and reading the previous reviews and must say just a little confused on people saying that it's over priced. My family can go in there for less than 40.00 and walk out full and very satisfied. There pizza is amazing, I always get their pasta dishes and the family gets the pizza. Try going into the wheat and rye with 5 people and paying 40.00 to feed a family, it's not going to happen, ever! This place is very clean, great service and amazing food. And as a bonus just for me working at Ford I get 20% off my bill. I will definitely be back!

The best Italian restaurant around! The sauce is simply the best sauce in any Italian restaurant around an I'm a hard critic due too the fact my family on the wife's side is 100% Sicilian an all i eat is home made pasta and sauce. We had chicken parmesan and a large thin crust pizza with bread sticks an soup. An let me tell you these are the absolute best bread sticks in the business. We will be back soon

Was there for the first time a few weeks ago. I've been looking for a great brick oven close to home. I was not disappointed. It was nice having a real pizza again. If you are not used to authentic brick oven pizza it might be a little to different for the average pizza eater. These guys import their flour to make their dough and the ingredients are always fresh. It's definitely not a $5 pizza which are basically hot ketchup and bread. Remember folks you get what you pay for. The pizza here is great! I prefer to eat real cheese, fresh dough, sauce and toppings over a processed chain pizza any day.

Had dinner tonight excellent as usual. Authentic Italian food. Staff & Owner very personable. Owner always comes by & asks how your meal was. Excellent game room with pool table & big TVs. Allen Park High School jerseys. Owner is a big supporter of Allen Park. Outstanding place to take a date or a family for dinner or a group of friends for a good time. Give it a try. You will not be disappointed. Support you Allen Park businesses. Kevin & Cassy Harris.

We were told that pizza was the quickest thing to order since everything was made fresh. Nothing came from a can or processed food. Wasn't really in the mood for pizza, so I ordered the Salmon. After time passed we finally started getting our food one plate at a time. With a family of 6, I wasn't happy with setting and watching my daughter eat while the rest of us were hungry. Her chicken Alfredo was burnt and the sauce was bland. My wife had to add salt and parm to it to make it taste halfway decent. My youngest daughters kids spaghetti was fettuccini noodles with bland red sauce on it that my wife had to add sugar too. My son's burger was burnt to a crisp yet raw in the middle. We sent it back to be replaced. It took about 45min to get it back, and we were still missing my salmon, my oldest daughters fish, and my wife's Philly steak flat bread......after 3 hours from when we ordered!!!! Yet we sat there waiting patiently. Meanwhile the other parents from out party started leaving and we still didn't have our food. One of the ladies in out party was talking to our waitress about the issues they had and next thing we know the owner comes out saying we were warned that pizza was faster. One of our families, the first to order, waited over 2 hours for a pepperoni pizza. One lady waited almost 3 hours for a salad!!! The owner blew up and started yelling and screaming, finally demanding that we leave, before he ran to the kitchen. We still didn't even have our Salmon or our Philly Flatbread,,,so thanks for wasting 3 hours of our night. We will never return to this place and do not recommend it anyone.

This is our family's favorite place!!! The service is great and the food is even better!!! Allen Park's hidden gem for authentic Italian food in a quaint cozy atmosphere with daily specials and handmade brick fire pizza.
A definite must try, and revisit for anyone in the area, or looking for excellent homestyle Italian!!
If you like Pia's, you will certainly enjoy the food here!!!!!!☺
