Review Reno's Pizzeria - Allen Park

Ever since they opened with the new owners I have have nothing but a bad experience. First time I ordered it my pizza was black, then next time I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, I call to order and use a coupon that was on my last pizza, they wouldn't let me use it. They said oh that was last months, I told them there is no expiration date on it, nor does it say limited time only or anything. Still said no they wouldn't offer it. So I said fine, cancel my order. Never will order again. Not to mention both times i called or went up there it was the same rude girl! papas pizza is the place to go! Good pizza and always very friendly!

Me and my fiancee used to go here for the last 10 years, it has recently come under new ownership. The last people that ran it were a family I believe, and you got the same product/quality every time, even though the guy that answered the phone was a bit of an angry person, the food would always turn out great. Now the place is being run by different people. When the old owners were there my order would come out to $12.02, it now comes out to $12.08 (no big deal) EXCEPT one time I called and they told me my order was going to cost almost $17, I didn't pick up my order because I knew there was a chance someone in the business was scamming me out of over $4, or they had upped the prices, I figured they had upped the price, but I placed an order and it cost $12.08 again, so I believe the person working the phone was trying to pocket some extra dollars. The old owners used to put a TON of ground beef on the pizza, now its barely on there. There are a LOT less pepperonis, some pieces of pizza even missing any at all. I also got an order of the cheese bread, and it was doused in garlic so bad that my kids couldn't eat it because it was burning their throat. I had to brush my teeth multiple times to try to get the garlic taste out of my own mouth after eating the bread (which i stopped eating once i tasted all the garlic which was mostly centered on the bread). It felt as though I had eaten some middle eastern food for the rest of the night, every breath and burp was the exact same as any middle eastern restaurant taste/feel) Overall I feel that this bread isn't worth a thing and is hard to eat, I really wish I could at least get my money back for the bread, the pizza isn't bad it's just lacking toppings. To sum all of this up: This place was old/rude before but produced quality food, now it's still an old place and is a big time hit or miss, and is a bit sketchy with the pricing.

It's like $7.25 for the most amazing large, double pepperoni pizza I've ever eaten - what more do I have to say? Oh yeah -- the pepperoni is that really nice, thick kind that curls up on the side and collects a cup of grease. I mean, you could feed a small country with about $100 and still have enough cheese left over for a snack. Full disclosure: I've never had this place deliver (don't be lazy - go get it yourself so that you don't have to complain about how long it took). Order from this place. Go. Now.

Ordered 12 pizzas for my daughters birthday party. Owner came in an hour early to prepare them and delivered them all steaming hot and delicious! Reno's is back and better than it ever was before!

First time customer, this will be my new pizza place! Homemade sauce, great tasting cheese, the pepperoni that curls up into perfect grease buckets, and some of the best cheese bread I have had in ages! Paid $16 total for a large pizza, cheese bread, and a 2 liter that they had advertised on their facebook page.

If i didnt have to rate i wouldnt. Used to be my favorite pizza and I never ordered from anywhere else. Its been a few years since I had their pizza because I moved. Decided to try their pizza again because I was in the Area. The square was supposed to be 10 pc turned out to be a 8pc. Very disappointed the pizza looked burnt, very thick dough, barely any sauce. I will take my money else where defiently not the same pizza from a few years ago. When I spoke to the manager about my complaint he offered no resolution which is very un professional period.

Very disappointed use to go here all the time. now under new management . been there 4 times since under new management 3 out of 4 times my order was wrong or couldn't place it . first got a burnt pizza and was questioned if the entire pizza was burnt?? Then they were out of pepperonis???? Really your a pizza establishment how are you out of pepperonis, then I order a large deep dish pizza and get a flat square pizza very disappointed about the new staff.

YES, THEY ARE OPEN - It is confirmed. They do have new owners, but from what I learned, the Executive Chef that is there now used to work there before things started getting bad. He INSISTS the recipes he is using are the classic ones everyone is used to. And I can also confirm, the original quality is back. The opening week special is a Large Pepperoni pizza for $5!! Screw little caesars, the gem of all Allen Park pizza is back and I don't know about you but I'm happy as hell about it. The butter garlic cheese crust, the wings, cheese bread..I have to go pick up my order now!

Beyond delicious pizza, I couldn't stop eating it! I was greeted with amazing customer service and felt more than welcome there to get some pizza. It has been a while since I ventured into a different pizza joint and its going to be hard to go anywhere else for pizza. They also have amazing deals to keep money in my pockets and my stomach full and happy. Thanks guys!

Renos cooks the best pizza downriver. Ordered a pepperoni bacon onion with butter garlic crust extra cheese. The pizza stayed together and the bottom color was golden darkish brown perfect

Just ordered a Reno's Special with garlic butter crust and it was delicious. Nice crip crust and a great price! Fresh mushrooms would be a awesome addition to the menu.

We had a large order for a birthday party and these guys came in early to go above and beyond for us. Not only did everyone love the lasagna, but breadsticks and pizza are gone! Love the butter parm on the pizzas too! Super accommodating to us....AND DELIVERED! Couldn't be happier! Thanks guys ��

Pizza was okay. What I didn't like was that they didn't honor the deal that they're advertising on FB. Even when I showed the owner the FB ad he still charged me full price. He said that I needed a coupon, but no where in the advertisement does it state anything about a coupon. Plus the guy wasn't that friendly. I definitely won't be going back.

I will never go back. Got the wing ding dinner, it was missing the coleslaw & garlic bread. Wings were under done causing the breading to be chewy and the fries were under done and flavorless.

18$ for a "large deep dish" that barely filled half a pizza box and some "garlic breadsticks" that looked like flat pizza dough brushed with butter.

Best pizza I had in ten year. Make sure you get butter crust.

Well i asked for the 12.99 labor day special that you advertised on here, placed the order and it came to 19$ not sure why but oh well not that big of a deal. Food got here quick and all i got was a pizza and pop no bread sticks...so i paid 20 and gave a 5$ tip for a lg pizza and a 2 liter...guy said he didnt know what the deal was..and yes when i orded i said i want the 12.99 fb deal. Guess you gotta be more specific when ordering from here. Pizza is really good tho!
