Really great place to eat with friendly staff. The food was good with large portions. I really like the rustic decor that is both tasteful and fit's Alpena's northern charm.

Good solid choice for breakfast. Had the Polish Falcon omelette. Loved the homemade blueberry jam and the view of the river. Great service. Fun atmosphere. Lots of locals eat here.

I felt like Prime Rib tonight and the Courtyard was packed. Called Thunder Bay River Restaurant and he said Prime Rib was on special tonight! What Luck! How wrong I was! Pulling in and being the only car in the parking lot on a busy Saturday night is surely a warning sign that I did not heed. Walk

Great lighting and comfortable vibes for a wonderful lunch! :) Ordered the seafood platter for a massive meal at a great price. Server was kind and very helpful in answering questions. Food came out quickly and was still warm when served. Give it a visit!

This is an interesting place. New Polish- leaning menu with meats sourced by local restaurants. Food was good. $2 margaritas, but only on the rocks... they strangely charge $3 extra ($5 total) for blending it. Odd. Had GREAT service from Hanna. Enjoyed the Club Sandwich with Tater Tots for lun
