Excellent food, service and ambiance. We were seated by the door to the patio so every time the door opened, we got a rush of cold air but it wasn't a big issue for us. We were eating rather quickly to get to another commitment ..... which the server was VERY accommodating. Thus if that dash of cold air might be an issue for you, consider asking for another table if they seat you there.
I like to ask a server what their favorite dish is, and what do people who come here frequently order. SHE KNEW and loved sharing that with us. There's nothing more zapping of energy to start a dining experience when a server shrugs with an "I don't know". She KNEW the menu, what she liked, what her customers liked AND WHY. All homemade dressings, I couldn't decide so I gave her the decision-making. Same with dessert. She loved that. Her enjoyment on that and the back-and-forth interaction was the cherry-on-top for a great dining experience.
I had the honey-glazed salmon. My husband the chicken fried chicken. My salmon was cooked PERFECTLY. P.E.R.F.E.C.T.L.Y.
NOTE: She said people frequently order the fish and chips. I needed less fried and more color on my plate, as I had a catfish basket, while traveling, the night before. She said she normally doesn't eat fish but she loves their blackened fish.
Oh ..... and here's a picture of the fabulous lighting fixture overhead our table and lobby of the adjoining historic hotel. Quite lovely. (Treasure hunt: look at the back of the chairs at the large table in the lobby. Very cool.)

Nice place. Very historic with that south western feel. The hotel looks cool, but this is for The Century Bar & Grill. You have to go through the bar to get there, so be sure to ask around if you can't find it and everyone will help get you there. We had the fried pickles as an appetizer and they were so good, between my son and I, we forgot the usual picture. Main courses; fish and chips (really I had fries), then the beef and bratwurst burger with waffle cut sweet potato fries. The fish was thick cut with a crumb coating fried to perfection the regular fries were, we'll regular fries. The beef and bratwurst burger, was very unique, one patty was beef and a second patty from a smashed bratwurst. Together the flavor was amplified by the caramelized onions and Horseradish sauce. The waffle cut sweet potatoe fries were delicious. Our server was very friendly and perfectly timed her table appearances when we needed something or to check on food quality and preparation. We were there for an early dinner, so the bar was busier than the restaurant.

2nd visit, Incredible fare, awesome and attentive staff. Our waiter John was extremely accommodating, very friendly, and knew the menu inside and out. We had the Asian sticky ribs and the gigantic blue cheese wedge salad for an appetizer. Both were fantastic. We also had the fish and chips, and the locally raised ribeye. Both were phenomenal. Highly recommend this venue.

If you want to a seat at the bar good luck. The staff has that covered. The hostess is never around even while sitting in front of you on her phone. Make sure you request the cook doesn’t use his vape while making your meal!

I got the Century Chop. The pork was cooked absolutely to perfection. There was a base of something underneath it, though. That was wretched. Absolutely horrific. Smelled awful, tasted even worse. The pork chop was great, though. It gets five stars for that.

Decent place charging prices equivalent to the historic, high-end restaurant a town over (12 Gage) without being anywhere near as good. Paid $8 for “chocolate mousse” that wasn’t anything but grocery store shelf instant chocolate pudding. Food would’ve been great for 20% lower price, mediocre at best for the menu prices. We’ll come back for the smash burger though!

Our waitress was polite and had a great attitude. My soda was flat. My mom’s steak fries came out towards the end of our meal, and there was a hair on them. Vegan bowl was delicious, but its $18 for 8oz of beans and 4 cuts of broccoli. Rice would complement the delicious chili sauce. All in all a friendly staff.

Excellent bar meal, excellent service. We were here 4 years ago and were happy to see the same friendly bartender again, post-Covid 👍

So we walk into the bar section and up to the hostess. We ask for a table for four and are asked if we have reservations. We say no and they tell us they will have to check with kitchen. They come back and say it will be about a 20 min wait. I figured the place was packed but one we finally get seated there is only four table that have people at them. They had a full kitchen staff and two waiters but service was extremely slow. Food was decent but not for the price they were charging. Also had a drink from the bar called cowboy old fashioned did not like it and I will drink almost anything.

Adequate food, Horrible service. Went to Century Bar and Grill on Friday night. Had been there before and liked the food. Menu has changed and everything that was good was gone. Place wasn't very busy, but our waitress obviously had other things on her mind! Couldn't remember our drinks, didn't know evening specials. After we ordered she came back two different times to tell us two different selections were now unavailable for the evening. The worst thing of the evening was when we asked to see a dessert menu and she just brought us our check -- a hefty one I might add. We won't be going back!

Main food is not French. More American.

New Chef! New Menu! Fabulous Food!. When the Century first opened in October 2012, I was not impressed. Overpriced, bland, boring.

Now there is a new chef in town! Chef Tami Moran has brought her distinctive "home cooking with class" touch to the Century! Known for her melt-in-your-mouth braised short ribs, this is just the tip of the new cuisine now at the Century.

I and a friend have eaten there twice over the last week. The first time we both had the crab-stuffed portabello mushroom appetizer as a light dinner. My friend took home the short ribs because she is recovering from TMJ and must eat only tender food. And never disappointed, Chef Tami's short ribs lived up to their reputation!

For dessert, we split the Bourbon Pecan Pie topped with vanilla ice cream and sweetened whipped cream. Rich decadence that you cannot stop eating!

This week my friend and I returned for dinner.

We started off with the new foie gras appetizer. Delicate slices of foie gras gently seared and served on a cognac dijon mustard sauce and accompanied by fresh plum slices. Rich yet delicate flavors perfectly combined!

My friend chose as her entree Chef Tami's now famous Chicken Pot Pie. "Chicken Pot Pie at an upscale restaurant?!?" you may ask in befuddlement. But wait! This Chicken Pot Pie is heavenly comfort food that will warm your soul better than anything your mom made! Tender chicken morsels and veggies nestled in a rich, full-flavored cream sauce topped with a generous pillow of freshly baked puff pastry crowned with the perfect amount of cheese sauce. Generous serving - enough for at least 2 meals! Your tummy and soul will thank you!

I went for the whole Roasted Cornish Hen served with Orange Cranberry Risotto and snow peas. The hen's breast was deboned, plump, and the whole bird was roasted to perfection. Drizzled with an orange cranberry sauce, it perfectly complemented the risotto and snow peas. Another generous serving, I took most of my game hen home and reheated it and the rice today for lunch. Hard to imagine, but the leftovers were even better!

I highly recommend the Century Bar & Grill!
