Great fresh seafood! the catch of the day was red snapper and i ordered it with grits which were delicious. My plate came with four hush puppies and cinnamon butter. It was a great meal and I had left overs to take home. I will most definitely come back! It was a Sunday early afternoon and not very busy.

Everything was fresh and delicious! Fish & Chips were made with the fresh catch of the day. Today's was red snapper. Service was great and so was the rum punch! I can't wait to go back and try something else.

This place is a hidden gem! I'm always getting the lightly-breaded fried salmon bites: this is absolutely one of the best. Normally I get fried fish or shrimp but their blackened ones are very good as well. Kudos to the chef! I tried entrees this time but also try their poke bowl with wasabi coleslaw and seaweed salad. It's the best of the best! Also, I had the best/pleasant service every time I dine in here. I forgot her name but she was super friendly, helpful, and always made sure everything goes good with you there. I didn't like blackberry sangria because it was too sweet for me; they had no issue to take it back or change it to the white sangria which I liked so much! Thank you again for the accommodation. :)

5 stars is not enough. This place blow you socks off on flavor. Full size portions on dinner menu will have you taking extra home. Tacos are full size 7 inch tacos. Local owners! Just do it.

Before I travel, I search for restaurants near my hotel. That typically helps determine where I stay. This place showed up on my search. I so glad I went. The reviews don’t lie. Staff is super friendly and helpful. I wish I remembered my waitress name. She immediately made me feel comfortable and welcomed. Answered all my questions and helped me make my food choices. For the food, super fresh and super tasty. Nice menu verity. If you’re looking for some tasty seafood, this is the place. Highly recommended.

I don’t know why it took me this long to write a review after over five years of coming here. The food has been consistent. Fresh hot and so very good. The hush puppies are my absolute favorite on the menu. The owners are very friendly and always working hard to ensure that you are satisfied. Highly recommended for lunch or dinner. Your fish will always be fresh and cooked in clean grease. The fried shrimp are always big too! Very affordable lunch specials

The food and the server (Nic) were fantastic! I ordered the lunch portion - Chef's Choice Fish Taco's, which was grouper. I got it blackened. I got their awesome creamy cilantro aioli sauce to put on them. I asked if I could taste their creamy avocado sauce.....it was awesome also. The tacos were packed with lots of fish etc. They have an Expo robot deliver the food to the tables where the servers then place the food on the table. That was our first experience with a robot food delivery. The whole experience was fantastic! Highly recommend!

We were shopping and stopped in mostly bc of the name and the fact that it's BLK owned. In a nice area of Altamonte near the mall, its giving a down south home-y feel with some cajun spice. Very clean and friendly. The owner was out on the floor and in the kitchen with her bright smile making you feel at home. The food did NOT disappoint!!! If you think everything looks good in photos, it tastes even better. Everything was served hot and fresh, seasoned to the gills, and tasted absolutely amazing. We had the calamari and clam strips (we ate some before i remembered to take the picture). That Blackberry mimosa sang to me and had just the right amount of sweetness to it. Last but not least, the lobster roll. Lawd the lobster roll. It was big enough to share with a friend and we both were incredibly happy with the results. Love to see my people doing it big and I will be back.

Came for lunch on a Saturday and was pleasantly surprised. Very nice setting ! We had the lobster bisque - very good! I had the shrimp and grits with blackened shrimp- the grits lacked flavor a bit but the shrimp sort of complemented it so it was not bad. My husband had the shrimp tacos and he was delighted. I really wanted to have a drink but as a new restaurant they do not have much of a variety - beer and some house wines. I will be back again to try other things on the fishy menu! Welcome to the neighborhood, Something Fishy!

A few years ago, I visited the Apopka location, but did not get good vibes from the staff when I was there. The atmosphere was not inviting to the point that I wanted to get up and leave; even though I had ordered food. I vowed that I would never eat at this establishment again. Interestingly, this year I found out that there was another location in Altamonte, so I decided to give them a second chance. Although, both locations may be owned by the same owner, this experience was totally opposite from the one years ago. Nicholas was Excellent!! He greeted us and he made us feel very welcomed. He was very friendly, personable and professional. He would be the reason for me coming back to eat here again. The food was pretty good too.

I love Something Fishy!! I'm mad I didn't know about them sooner!! My fiance' and I stumbled across them when looking for good seafood places in the Altamonte area. The food is ALWAYS on point, and the owner Patrice is very sweet and always has great customer service! My fiance' and I always get the build-your-own Salmon bowls and they do not disappoint! The fried salmon is my favorite and the coleslaw here is bomb!! I normally don't like coleslaw, but theirs is just different! Can't wait to try everything on their menu!

I am a grits lover and they have good tasting grits typically. Along with fish tacos that I ate this time. I usually get the vegetable bowl which I like. Check them out They have a room for larger gatherings also.

This is a hidden GEM in Altemonte. They owner is usually there. Thee service is the best. The food tastes out of this world amazing. The food presentation is second to none There are diet friendly options and can answer most ?'s about weight /quantity on the amount of said fish so you can log what you are eating. Wednesday Night is bring a bottle for your table and a bottle to share. They do private parties upto 18 or most of the resturant 100 people. They go above and beyond any expections you'd have for the out of the way place.

Had a great informal dinner at a great place. Would love to come back sometime. In Maitland for the night and so glad we found this place. We both had the taco's, I had blackened fish and my friend had shrimp, very tasty 😋. We also tried a new beer for us, Mango cart beer it went well with what we ate. We also had lemon chello for dessert.
