We love Tavern 27. They have amazing drunken mushrooms. So tasty!!! They serve Pepsi products which is a plus. I have no complaints about the service.
Made a reservation for 4 people at 7:30pm and we didn’t get our food until after 9:30pm.
Our server was apologetic but had a different reason for the delay each time she came back to our table. I have never waited for food this long after ordering, and honestly I never will again. We were so hungry
We went there this evening but the entire place was empty! Couldn’t found a soul so we could ask if that’s a restaurant or just a golf club! I'm giving this place a 3 star rating because of two things..there was Noone at the hostess stand when we arrived for a group reservation. The pulled pork sandwich had a yucky after taste. I love these and was sorely disappointed; however everyone that got burgers said they were fantastic!!
Beautiful view of the sun setting into the mountains...BUT THE REALLY BEAUTY IS THE FOOD!! not only did it looked like a masterpiece but it tasted AMAZING. Full disclosure, I work here, but my time spent here has shown me that the food is consistently good to great, the food and alcohol prices are pretty reasonable, and the views can't be beat in Altoona.
