Monterrey Mexican Restaurant - Altoona - Photo album

Came in for a quick lunch and got steak tacos. The staff was very polite, I was seated quickly and checked on regularly. The tacos were good with great flavor, although a tad greasy (but it's fried meat, what do you expect). Complimentary chips and salsa were great - just the right heat and chips we
Amazing place to go for a really good Margarita or Michelada. Our waiter (Miguel) he is amazing really good attention, really good customer service, tasty food (be aware they don’t have little portions of food). Definitely coming back!
10/10 recommend Monterrey! Always great service, and the food is always DELICIOUS! Always our go to for work lunches.
Very good food, quick and good service. We went for the first time, wanted to try somewhere new. We loved it! I had seafood enchiladas and added mushrooms. We will definitely be back.
Great food and customer service. The menu offers several different options and everything we have eaten so far has been awesome. Order the guac they will make it fresh. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area.
One word for the food here - bland. The salsa is ok but lacks any spice. I had the steak fajitas. The steak was ground up into tiny over cooked pieces. Not good at all. Plus this dish lacked flavor - once again bland. The service and margs were great. Food not so good.
Margaritas are very good! The food was a little dry but tasted good. The server we had was very busy but he did a good job making sure we had everything we needed.
Sat down and ate the chips and salsa they gave us. Salsa is a great indicator of the quality of a Mexican restaurant, and it was by far the worst salsa I've ever had; it tasted like you were dipping into a jar of marinara sauce. Prices on the menu were pretty high. We just got up and left.
