This place delivers a great authentic Indian experience! I’ve tried a few of their dishes but definitely LOVE the chicken tikka masala. I always order me some garlic naan to go with it! For appetizers the veggie samosa is amazing! And lastly I always love to get a mango lassi. I love this place! If you’re looking for something different, flavorful, and authentic, this is the place! The staff is also super friendly and are great about answering any and all questions I have about new dishes I try!

I've been looking for good Indian food here for a while, how have I never gone to this place before? They're in a tiny little building, but the flavors are giant. I had their chhole bjatura as an app followed by the malai kofta as my main, and tasted their lamb and chicken curry and well - everything was amazing! The staff are super friendly, informative, and they're careful to cater your food to your preferred spice levels. They also have plenty of excellent vegetarian options! I've heard their lunch buffet is also grand, and when we went to pick up a phone (left by accident last night haha) it was absolutely packed! 10/10 would recommend, they're a treat for those both new and experienced in the Indian food scene!

We found this restaurant on Yelp. Very unassuming looking building, but don't let that fool you. I have eaten at numerous Indian food places and this was, hands down, the best!! The staff was wonderful and very attentive. Everything was delicious! This will definitely be on our list to eat at next time we come through Amarillo.

Wow. Just wow! This place delivers an incredible experience. My husband and I are driving through on our way to Colorado and we stopped in. We immediately fell in love with the ambiance, and then the food was impeccable! The restaurant is filled with beautiful Indian art. It is super clean and inviting. The service was also great! We obviously love this place! We will certainly be stopping by on our way back and hopefully soon after. We are vegetarian and we’re so happy to find this gem on our path! Definitely check this place out!

The Indian Oven - 6/13/17 about 6:00 pm First time and Omg! Everything was amazing. Went with my parents and 5 y/o daughter. Sorry, no pictures as I did not have my phone. For an appetizer we had the Vegetarian Samosa. My daughter had the Chicken Pakora and she said she wants to eat it everyday. It's just chicken, no sides, but there was a ton of it and that's usually all she eats when we go out. I tasted it and could have been happy with it too LoL My dad had Chicken Curry and ate every bite. My Mom had Malai Kofta, which is a vegetarian dish and also loved it. They do have many vegetarian options. I loved my Chicken Tikka Masala as well. We also had the Onion Naan Bread to share. They brought my daughter Gulab Jamun, which they described as 2 Indian donuts in a syrup, and that was pretty tasty but she wasn't a fan. The entrees are very shareable, especially with an additional side, appetizer or dessert. They will also bring you more rice. They bring empty, which makes each dish easy to share. You can choose your level of spice, from low (level 1) to Indian hot (level 10), which I like being able to do. They are so friendly. Something different from the regular dining choices in our city. Overall great experience and will be back very soon!

We had been on the road for 2 days. Had a fantastic dinner at Indian Oven. Great staff and quick service. Excellent authentic Indian food. We also asked for plain tea ( not from menu). The staff took great pains and went out of the way to prepare the leaf tea for us…just the way we wanted. Bliss. To top it, complementary. You guys made our day. The fatigue of being on the road just vanished. May your tribe grow..Kudos to the team.

When you are one of the few (or only?) Indian restaurant in the city, it's easy to offer mediocre food and call it a day. But, Indian Oven offers an above average Indian taste experience. Their service is also 5 stars, with their staff being super friendly and courteous with us (our kids especially loved interacting with them). As for the food itself, their curries and appetizers all on point (special shout out to their Chili Chicken). The only dish I did not really like was their Biryanis. I don't know if it's specific to a certain Indian region but the biryani taste just didn't do it for me, I've had better. Overall, a solid experience. I've already been here twice and my family has come out happy and satisfied both times. Will visit again for sure!

Great interior and setup. Clean and welcoming atmosphere. I tried a different dish than the one im used to, it was nice and spicy just as i asked for it to be. My main dish came with a side of rice which was awesome. There was a teenage boy that helped me and when he didnt know the answer he did find out for me. I highly recommend this pace if you are in Amarillo. I had the bhature with shahi paneer and mango lassi.

We don't live in Amarillo but we pass through here on road trips about 3 times a year. When we do, we make a point of eating here because the food is always great and the service is usually good. What keeps this from being 5 stars is that our most recent visit was a rather disappointing experience. The service was very slow, took forever to get refills of my tea even after asking and the naan was cold. I'm hoping it was a fluke so we'll see what happens on our next visit. EDIT: came back through Amarillo on the way back to Oklahoma and went here for lunch. They do a buffet which had 3 items my wife could eat (gluten free and vegan) which was a big plus. Service wasn’t really an issue since it was a buffet but I had no issues with getting my ice tea refilled and the food was top notch. I was surprised by one of their breads that was essentially a sopapilla but one of the staff educated me that it’s a common Indian breakfast bread. Was great as a dessert though with butter and honey.
