The service is warm, welcoming and the food is delicious, their Lobster cream or soup warmed my soul in a special way.
But their Turkey avocado hamburger will make a fest of fresh healthy flavors in your mouth.
I strongly recommend this special, unique restaurant/ Bistro at Amherst by the centric Boltwood St.
The drinks were really tasty and original! The service was alright.
The food was good. I don't know if the poutine holds up to Canadian standards but it was good, cheesy and plenty of bacon pieces. The blackened scallops were great, the side rice was tasty but very heavy. My friend ordered the risotto but we were disappointed because her rice was undercooked which is sort of ironic for a risotto.
First time here. Sat at the bar since it's usually a great experience no matter where we go. The specialty drinks knocked our socks off, unicorn blood and foxglove. Then we ordered main courses which did not disappoint! Absolutely delish. I got blackened scallops, and my partner got the chevre burger. Very different and both very tasty. If you want a very unexpected foodie treat with a laid back atmosphere and reasonable prices, this is your place.
First impression was great! Super friendly and fast service. The food was incredible, You need to try the poutine. The chicken sandwich was juicy and tender. The tiramisu was fresh and moist. All the food was plated well. In all the whole experience was great and very affordable. Thank you again to our amazing waiter Enzo!
I was greeted right away by a friendly server, I sat at the bar. Very comfortable atmosphere. The bartender was also very friendly and welcoming. She made me a yummy cocktail and I had a delicious salad with grilled chicken thighs added to it. Simple, fresh, and really hit the spot! I will definitely be back!
Risotto was spot on, and their Tiramisu was the best I’ve ever had— everything else looked great too.
I dined here as part of my school’s Take Your Professor Out program. However, I forgot to ask for an itemized receipt, which was a requirement for me to be reimbursed for the meal. After emailing the restaurant, I received a receipt within just a few hours; they sent it to me after they had already closed. If that isn’t great customer service, I don’t know what is.
Both lunch and dinner here have been enjoyable. The menu varies which is nice, as opposed to places where the food never changes. It’s clear the owners put a lot of work into managing the place well. Pleasant ambiance and music. Monkey Bar after hours looks exciting too!
Excellent customer service. I had the Thai Chicken Wrap, the chicken didn't have any flavor, but the food was hot which I love. I loved the fried! My friend had the chicken risotto it was pretty cool. I'll definitely come back on my next visit.
The vegan Squash Risotto is absolutely amazing! The pumpkin seeds on top add a nice crunch.
Terrific experience. The drinks (unicorn blood and foxglove) were very tasty and unique. The food (blackened scallops and chèvre burger with sweet potato fries) was fantastic. Even a nice touch of honey mustard sauce with the sweet potato fries added a savory flavor.
Bring coins ladies and gentlemen, the parking is on the side of the road and coins.
Caroline was a great waitress, she made it very enjoyable by being a normal person.
The food comes out as ready, so a sandwich can come out before a plate.
The shrimp wrap was really good, but there were pickles I was not prepared for. Ask about ingredients if you have any hard passes. My boyfriend got the poutine and let me have some, it was shockingly good. A bit heavy but he likes his food with weight.
The green tea was very good, surprisingly. I've had tea be hit or miss in other places. The green matcha was very smooth. My boyfriend laughed at my happy wiggle.
The drinks, my boyfriend said, are poured generously, his cheeks were rosy half way through his drink.
This was a great experience. Our waitress was amazing even after spilling a tomato based drink down their back. The food was delicious. I am looking forward to going back soon!
Food was good, the burger was cooked the way i wanted(medium) fries were not ask cripsy as I wanted. The shrimp po boy was more worth getting than the burger. The service was good, the prices were reasonable and the overall experience was enjoyable.
