Came here for dinner to celebrate graduation. The dinner menu changes every now and then, and it’s been a while for me so I was very pleasantly surprised! We got a couple of apps, cocktails, then I got the scallops, which were delicious. I love the interior as well. We finished with dessert and we t
A unique dining experience with a diverse menu, wine list, and outstanding service. Comfortable but with a certain nostalgia.
What a beautiful place inside and out. It was a special occasion, and they seated us in a private room. Outside tables are also great with overhead heaters if it’s chilly. A fire pit with comfortable couches. Great bar. Excellent service. Delicious food. This is our third time here, and we are never
We happened by yesterday on a dreary, drizzly, damp afternoon after clomping through the muddy farmer's market. Brunch seemed just the ticket to lighten the mood. And boy, did it ever! I ordered the Turkish eggs; Lee, the French toast. The toast was piled high, and our friend Sandra suddenly found h
We just ate here for the first time and had a fantastic meal. The beet salad and clam chowder were excellent, and the Eggplant dish was delicious. The Boltwood burger blew me away- I think it might be one if the best burgers I've had in years. Fantastic flavor to the beef. Great atmosphere and gre
We went as a family to Brunch visiting our son at UMass. We all picked a dlfferent food, lobster roll, steak, burger, veggie sandwich. Food was amazing? Service was very good, our cocktails were delicious. I don’t understand how this place is not rated much higher. I highly recommend it.
Good vibes. I changed fries to Caesar salad and anchovies came with it, but it smelled a little fishy.
Definitely high end dining. The cocktails were very good! Service was fast and friendly. The roasted olives appetizer was a surprising flavor but very good! Family.had the scallops - they were ok. Only seasoned on one side though :( The bolt wood smash burger was a big hit at the table too along wi
PERFECT Eggs Benedict! The hollandaise sauce was delicious. This place is magical. We stayed here for one night and wish it was more. Highly recommend 30 Boltwood and Inn on Boltwood.
Visiting amherst for the first time in years (UMASS 2001.) This was a great experience. Sat outside and there were heaters to keep us warm. The Brie appetizer is a must!
Amherst is pretty variable in its restaurant offerings - sometimes there are some great new places, but mostly not. 30 Boltwood is consistently first class. We ate there on a Wednesday night in June with a variety of food restrictions - one person needed gluten free, another had crohn's disease an
Good selection of excellent, understated, carefully prepared food of mostly local provenance served graciously in a quiet atmosphere conducive to quiet conversation and thinking. No plastic glasses here, no rushing about, no Musac, no tv. A welcome respite.
Very conveniently located next to campus. Glorious atmosphere whether you dine outside or inside. Good old things CAN survive time!
Excellent cheese board. The filet is superb.
We have been to eat here several times over the years and enjoyed every time. Tonight was even better with some new dishes and new twists on menu standards. There was something special about every dish with unusual but tasteful touches. Like the dried plums on the pork chop (incredibly tasty), or th
Had an amazing lunch here today. The weather was perfect and we sat on the patio on the comfortable sofas. Our sever was friendly and attentive without hovering. He went above board to make sure that we had a great experience. He was always there when we needed anything. And then the food- the menu
