La Veracruzana Mexican Restaurant - Amherst - Photo album

I regularly get their potato and carrot enchilada with suiza sauce and it is to die for. The plates are large and definitely worth the money. I’ve tried some other dishes and none of them disappoint. Highly recommend to anyone visiting or living nearby that hasn’t tried.
I haven't been since the remodeling. I love it! Staff is great and as usual the food is amazing. I've never had anything I didn't like there!
Found this place on way to UMass for Rugby game. The margaritas are spot on flavorful. The decor is colorful and fun. We had a table in the window and it was fun to people watch. Very good guacamole and perfect crispy chips. We shared the crispy tacos. The beef were really tasty and more flavorful t
The new space is fantastic, and the food is absolutely delicious!! I have not found another place with tacos that can compare (the shrimp tacos are my go-to). Been coming here for about three years and the quality never wavers - I've brought many family members and friends who all enjoy it as well.
Really made me feel I was in Mexico from the food and the vibe.
Great Mexican restaurant in Amherst MA. Walkable from Amherst college. Great food and service. Reasonable prices. Lot of orders are takeouts. We went on Saturday evening and had 40 minute wait to get the food. But the food was delicious. Very clean bathrooms.
Absolutely love their food, the burritos are huge, their plates are as well. And the flavors are amazing!
Overall, I enjoyed my dining experience at this location. Located at the edge of downtown Amherst, La Veracruzana is a lively spanish restaurant. With colorful decorations, vibrant music, and a rather full space (at least on Saturday nights), this is a great restaurant to eat at. The food is tasty a
They have the most authentic Mexican food in the area! Their homemade salsas and guacamole are out of this world! You must try everything on the menu! Plus the newly remodeled space is very nice!
My vegetarian and cheese burrito was huge! It was meatless, but packed with refried beans, potatoes, carrots and lettuce! It was not necessarily packed with flavor though. But it was quite filling and I had just gotten off a flight and was very hungry. I've only had a burrito that big in California!
These jokers were very good, and they've grown their business quite a bit since I've visited in the past. I had the al pastor, chips and various salsas, and horchata. Nice job with all
Great menu of options with some unique choices. Small shop with limited seating may make it more difficult to grab a table at busy time. Staff has been friendly and my orders come out quickly making it a great lunch spot. Personally I really enjoy the pulled beef burrito bowl with pico on top.
Always great food, consistent and excellent. They make delicious drinks too. They have the best chips and salsa bar.
Burritos and service were good. The tres leche we took to go was excellent.
LA Veracruzana has been a very special place to eat authentic and well prepared Mexican food. We have been to this restaurant many times over the last 3 decades and it has consistently been superior quality staff is fun and courteous and pricing is reasonable. If when going here you would like a sug
Great service and excellent food! I always order the carne asada tacos with chips and guac and have never been disappointed. The staff is super nice and whenever I get a take out order it's always ready for me as soon as I arrive. I tried the steak burrito last time I ordered and it was excellent! P
