Amazing wings! My husband and I came with our dog, and they immediately brought out a bowl of water for him. We got half buffalo wings, half BBQ wings, and they were both delicious!

Casual dining, lots of choices for all your picky friends. Always able to just walk in with no reservation. Great place in the summer to enjoy car cruise nights. (Usually Thursday evenings)
Pretty good wings. They claim to be the first Buffalo Wings place and the Wings do live up to the billing. Tried a couple of the local New England beers and they were good too.
Great food and great service. Ordered the wings (shocking I know given this place is known for their wings) and the wings themselves were perfectly cooked and the sauces were so flavorful. Anchor is definitely worth the stop in for some great wings.
Great wings and spicy chicken wings soup. There are different menus of Anchor Bar's branch stores. This branch store have no dessert menu. Check the website before coming

Got a fish fry on Ash Wednesday. The fish and French fries were excellent. Would like to see more than just slaw and Mac salad as sides. Also, no tartar sauce in the to go box. I didn't see it as an order option. Maybe I missed. Regardless, I'll go back for the haddock. Very good and a generous size
