Best, light, fresh doughnuts that I've have in years. Kind faces, kind words, and the hours are longer than most bakeries ( until 6 on that Wednesday) . A big thumbs up..
Breakfast and lunch buffet on Wednesday and Friday. Otherwise, they have sandwiches and subs served on a homemade roll and chips. Limited space, unisex restroom, ample parking. Located in a strip mall. Also have few pastries for sale. Sevaral antiques decorate the interior.
love this place. best donuts around. Their pastries are quite nice...they are not too sweet, just perfect in my opinion. The folks that own this are always so pleasant as well. We had lunch there and their sandwiches are served on fresh baked rolls! I had their take on an Italian hero..very tas
Great breakfast! The doughnut was amazing, we ended up getting a dozen. It's definitely worth a trip.
Love this local gem! Greeted when we arrived, shown menu. We ordered sandwiches to eat there, so were invited to have a seat. Our waters came immediately, and in nice large glasses. I usually need to ask for a refill or 2, but not today! I had the turkey provolone, husband had chicken salad. Wow.

The pastries are delicious! Every time I go I'm amazed at the pastries, food and service. If you live in the lynchburg area you have to there! You have to experience it first hand to truly appreciate it
Mr. Rose is phenomenal. What a great man. An institution in Amherst. Baked goods are great and great portions. Don't miss this!!
