Definitely one of my favorites spots to get spicy beefy Patties . The rice & peas is definitely one of my favorite side dishes . The beverages they have there are beyond delicious . I would recommend coming here for a taste of some really good food .also purchased some sauce !
This place is one of the original locations and still there. I decided to go in to experience authentic Caribbean cuisine. I could smell the aroma when I parked. Portion sizes are good and if you are hungry go for the large. Generous sauce and great flavors when I had the Jerk Chicken with rice and beans with some cabbage and plantains which were dry. Friendly counter service with a smile.
It's Golden Crust, you get a beef patty and some of that goat with all the rice and beans, ah so good.
The food was okay but presentation wise, it wasn’t all that for me. If you plan to dine in though, it doesn’t seem like they facilitate that. However, go there too grab a quick meal.
Curry goat with rice was delicious & had amazing spice and flavor. I also order a whole snapper with rice & peas that was very good. The chef did an amazing job! He deserves a raise 😃
All the food was very fresh with amazing Caribbean flavor.

I was happily surprised by the quality. It always seemed like fast food but what I got was actually very tasty and nothing resembling fast food. The patties are well made and flaky. They come in mild or spicy for the beef and different types of meat ranging from chicken, shrimp, to beyond meat if that's your thing.
I like the steam table offerings. The oxtail is quite good and you get a fair amount for the price. Thick sauce so just be aware. Their jerk chicken has a bit of kick although I could do with less sauce there but that's my personal preference.
Service is helpful and nice. They just take it a bit slow so you might want to order ahead.
Would recommend and come back for change of pace. I don't think I could eat it frequently otherwise I'd be rather large.
Stopped in for a lunch. I've never tried the jerk chicken, and these ladies sat me down for a tasting session. I'm here to tell you they were excellent representatives of tasty food.
The jerk chicken is a nice flavor. I picked up a platter of that chicken and some jerk patties. I like the (spicy) beef patties the best so I got them too. Great place 5star
Place is a bit hard to find and it seems a bit shady. However, the food is tasty and the service is friendly. The bathroom was very clean, which was a big plus.
Everything here was very good. Process, food, and atmosphere. It's probably the best brown stew chicken around the area. Prove me wrong...
Great place! The lady that served me was nice and the food was soooo good, my only problem is I paid $29 for Oxtail and they mixed the meat with turkey please stop doing that
Food is good but compared to other Golden Krusts the selection just seems so minimal in the display & the supposed bakery display is always empty. It looks almost bare bones in there. They always seem to have patties, curry chicken & rice & peas readily available which is what I go there for & Oxtail which I don't eat. There may be a wait of you order something else.
This is the only spot in Suffolk county where I go to get great-tasting Caribbean food. I have been going here for almost ten years now and the service and the food has always been outstanding. The ladies behind the counter serving the food always smile and greet you no matter what. I highly recommend this spot.
OMG! I Haven't had good Golden Krust in a while and this lil jem in Amityville Long Island is what authentic Caribbean food is. And the ladies that served us were so kind. Thank you for the good food and the experience. Big👍ups to you!!!
