This was my first time having Southern food and it was insanely good! We had the waffles with chicken and gravy, as well the macaroni. The chicken with the gravy was so flavourful and paired perfectly with the slightly sweet waffles. The prices are also really great considering how large the serves are. Heaven.

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! Chicken was fried to perfection. First time trying such a badass combination. Got the famous Scoes which was 2 fluffy waffles and two pieces of fried chicken. I saw that everyone was cutting a piece of chicken then eating it together with the waffles and syrup. I tried it and my mind was blown! had to go there again the next day for dinner again and tried some more beautiful soul food. this time getting the greens and cornbread with Chicken and mac n cheese. Love this place also love the decor with beautiful images of faith. Love and family!

I had the chicken livers and grits. Haven't had that since I was a kid it was awesome! We are only here a few days, but we will be back. This is some place to look for if you are in LA.

This is a place that I'm glad I went to because of the reputation it has and the novelty of dining here. The service was super friendly and the food was very good. I recommend the Obama Special.

Roscoe's Fried Chicken and Waffles is as much of a Southern California institution as going to an In-N-Out Burger.  There are plenty of places which serves this breakfast-meets-lunch meal, but very few can provide consistently good food at each visit. This newest Roscoe's (or 'Scoes, as the fans call it) is located just south of Disneyland, off Harbor Boulevard and Orangewood.  Its the largest one,

Recently visited this LA fried chicken mainstay with a group of five. We found the security guard stationed outside the front door to be a little weird (i.e., the need for one; not that the guard was a weird guy). The fried chicken was delicious, crispy and moist. The waffles were fairly standard--nothing special. The staff was friendly. Be aware that they have a policy of not giving separate checks to groups so you're out of luck if you need to be reimbursed for business travel.

Being from Australia, chicken and waffles is a totally new concept to us as we don't have anything like it anywhere.

I've heard of it before but never actually knew there was a restaurant specifically dedicated to this amazing dish!

I got the number 11 I think, the Carol C special. The fried chicken was the best fried chicken I've ever had. Hands down. The waffle was also fluffy and delicious and the perfect addition to the crispy and juicy chicken breast. It was a delicious combination between sweet and savoury. The maple syrup was the perfect marriage between the two foods.

The service was also brilliant, the servers giving their recommendations to some chicken and waffles novices.

We were so impressed with the meal, the service and the whole feeling of the place we even bought some apparel on the way out!

That was a good meal before flying back to Canada.... What a great way to end my stay in California :) I loved the fried chicken here... The chicken was juicy and flavorful - plentiful too. Sure beats Mary Brown's and KFC up in Canada. It even beats the famous fried chicken place inside Disneyland, what was it, Plaza Inn. The corn bread was sub-par in my opinion - a little too dry and not flavorful enough. The waffles were great though. This chicken waffle meal is also miles better than Hash House a Go Go in Vegas (3535 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89109). Overall, I'm very pleased with this location with the staff and service. I was startled by the security guard greeter person at the front entrance but it was just for my own safety :) I'm cool with that.

If you've never been to Roscoes Chicken and Waffles you definitely have to make a stop here. It had been years since the last time I was here but nothing has really changed. The chicken was crispy, moist, and finger licking good. You have to pour some of the hot sauce to make it extra delicious.. The waffles were so flavorful, buttery and everything you'd want your waffle to taste like. The server was great. Food came out at a reasonable time. And our server was awesome. It was my birthday and he recommended this drink that went perfectly with my chicken and waffles. We ordered some Mac and cheese and that was also delicious. Definitely want to come back soon.

I love Roscoe’s. The fried chicken and waffles did not disappoint. Neither did my sides. Everyone at my table was pleased with the food and service. The staff were friendly. The music was on point. The aesthetics of the building were nice. I would definitely visit again.

Cornbread is huge and delicious, and the chicken was crispy and juicy. Family friendly dining. Great service, thanks Jay. They allow dogs on the patio area our server brought her a bowl of water. There is parking available behind the restaurant. But close to several hotels next to Disneyland, so I walked. No line, I just walked in around 3:30pm on a Saturday.

Greens were tender and well seasoned. Waffle was on the soggy side when it arrived and the chicken was juicy but lacked flavor. This place is none the less legendary though so when in town my family always stops here to eat.

Everything was wonderful from the food to the atmosphere. Haven't visited a Roscoe's since 2001 put it tastes just the same delicious and now since I'm a Texas transplant living in Temecula it's gonna be worth the drive for many more visits to come especially when family comes to visit !!!

Roscoe’s simply CAN’T MISS when it comes to the food. I have been going to their different establishments for my entire life and I always leave full off of genuinely tasty waffles and chicken. You can’t go wrong with the Obama Special (two waffles, 3 fried chicken thighs), but the chili cheese and chicken fries were great too. The service could be a bit better, as some employees didn’t seem too welcoming and friendly. But the vibe inside the restaurant is nice with lots of families going in and out. Restrooms were also clean with stocked paper towels and filled soap dispensers. Plenty of parking right outside too, and this place happens to be close to Downtown Disney so the area is fantastic. You gotta hit up Roscoe’s! Once you go once, it’ll be tradition to return when you find yourself in the area.

This was our first time coming to Cali and we were happy this gem was a few minutes from our hotel. The food was 🔥, fresh, and seasoned to perfection. The size of the meals were large and you can share or have leftovers later. The waitress was so very helpful in helping us decide what to get. We enjoyed our experience so much we had to come back before we left cali. Will come back again.

Our waiter Levi was pleasant during our eating. He provided valuable information based on our needs, being that we are from the south (Florida). The wait was rather long, it wasn't a completely packed location, however there were more than enough customers to keep the employees busy. With that being said: I'm not sure if it was cinnamon or nutmeg in the waffle or syrup. That was a bit of a different taste that I wasn't expecting. The chicken pieces we ordered were flavored nicely, though some did look a bit fried too long. The Greens were decent, the flavor probably could have used a bit more pork. The size needed to be cut smaller. Nothing wrong with big pieces of greens, but no one eats big pieces of greens, LOL. The mac & cheese maybe could have used more cheese, but it was very good. The mashed potatoes weren't mashed. They were whole potatoes doused in gravy.

We don't have these on the East Coast. If you get a chance, definitely go. Food is so good. Me and the wife both got the "Scoes #1" with a side of Mac and Cheese, Greens, and Cornbread... In hindsight we could have just had one order because they give you so much food. Either way, can't wait to go back. Definitely recommend if you're near one.

A bit chilly in here but the staff was decent for the busy night that it was. The chicken though!! Juicy ! The grits were okay. Waffles and that syrup were also super good.
