Had an awesome time at the character breakfast on my son’s birthday. We’ve been to this one a couple of other times, and we like it every time! I have a 20 month old (I know, so annoying, but she’s not quite 2, so I’m just being specific) and a 5 year old. My little one LOVED to dance with the characters the few times the dance party started during our breakfast. The characters come right to your table and are the absolute sweetest, regardless of your child’s mood lol. The food was good! We definitely loved the fresh fruit, omelette station, and their bacon is suuuper good. We had a very caring server, Ellen, and although she was busy, she made time to check on us and have short conversations. She made sure my little guy had a special 5th bday complete with pins for everyone, a birthday cupcake, and singing. Our total came out to about $125 with tip . If you use a Disney Visa card, you can save 10% off that. Also, if you like your family photo, and you’re going to get the MaxPass, don’t buy the photo they take! Go into the Photo store on Main Street and tell them the time and location of your breakfast, and they will digitally add the photo to your MaxPass. This will allow you to save it to your phone/computer for editing and printing. We will definitely be going again!

Donald Duck’s Seaside Breakfast at Disneyland Resort’s Festival Pier Hotel’s PCH Grill guarantees you to see, meet, get autographs & take photos with Donald! He’s such a hard character to catch in the Disney parks! :-( BUT this character buffet breakfast is the way to go! As soon as you arrive, you get a professional photo shoot with Surfer Donald! (Yes, they can use your camera/smartphone, too) Loved the surfing & holiday themed decor when we went during my birthday trip. So much activity all over the restaurant- other characters available that day were Daisy Duck, Minnie Mouse & Stitch! Super fun! Our time slot on a mid-weekday worked well for us as there weren’t too many other diners. So we got A LOT of special attention and interaction with the characters roaming around and seeing them interact with one another. It was especially heartwarming to see Donald & Daisy talking to one another & strolling around together as a couple. You don’t see that every day! 🥰 Love! Love! Love! Buffet consisted of omelet station (which we completely missed because who can eat when there’s Donald around! Lol), granola/fruit parfait station, hot breakfast items (scrambled eggs, eggs Benedict, bacon, pork sausage, hash, etc), oatmeal/Mickey pancake & Mickey waffles/French toast station, soft serve & dessert station with toppings! Sadly, my only disappointment was that even though I both advance booked our dining reservations online with note of my birthday celebration, and told the receptionist at checkin, AND I wore my Disneyland’s birthday pin, I didn’t get a birthday candle lit cupcake and serenade. Naturally, I thought it was just for the kids, but when I asked on our way out, one of the servers said they do it for adults, too, and to tell them again it was my birthday, but we maxed out our 2-hour parking validation time. Oh well. Learn from my mistake to be more aggressive and let your actual table server know you’re there to celebrate a birthday. ;-)

It's always a great experience for the kids to eat with the characters. We liked that Stitch was at this one! The food is mediocre, that should not be the reason you go here! They take your picture with Mickey when you go in, make sure to have them take it with your camera or it will cost you $35. Also, they automatically add tip so look for that!

Food was good and plentiful although over priced for the experience. Catered for dietary requirements - big plus. Service was very good and we got plenty of the Disney experience. Would recommend for big Disney fans - which we aren't.

Best character dining experience! Food was a breakfast buffet and had plenty of options for all my family. The gentleman making the omelets went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied and made you feel at home. Aside from good food what you are really paying for is the character experience and to me this was better then Disneyland itself and worth every dollar spent. My kids came alive and the interaction they had with the characters was magical to say the least. It went well beyond a picture and a signature! We will go back again and again!

Fantastic experience, especially for the kids. Buffet was pretty good, with omelets made to order, and had a wide selection. Service was great, and very attentive. Mickey, Minnie, Daisy and Stitch characters also came out, and took their time with our children. I definitely recommend this breakfast experience if staying at Paradise Hotel.

We came here for a character breakfast and the experience was pretty good. All the characters came over for greeting our daughter and spent a good time there. They made sure all characters hit all tables. I'd give it five stars except our server wasn't exactly the best. She seemed grumpy and only really smiled when she said thank you for dining there. The problem was that they overloaded the area we were in and there were too many birthdays. So she was overloaded. I'd go back again if my daughter wanted to, but not on my own accord. The place is very kid friendly and they take your picture with Mickey before you sit. Good so that for sure everyone gets the picture. It was actually a really good picture too. I'd be tempted to buy it.

This is one of my favorite restaurants to go to if I'm staying at Paradise Pier. The buffet is kind of pricey, but the character breakfast is fun for kids. I usually eat her first (just once) during a trip and would head to Disneyland right after. Great service, the staff is really courteous and the food is decent. I recommend it!

We just left the character dining breakfast buffet. It was amazing!! We saw Donald, Daisy, Minnie and Stitch!! The characters came around frequently and spent time with the kids and allowed as much time with pictures as we wanted. Everyone was super friendly and Steve our waiter was very nice and on top of drinks and anything else we needed! He has worked there for 22 years and I can see why. A couple of times during the breakfast they would play some surf music and all of the characters would dance up front with all the kids. The food was delicious!! They had such a huge selection. Scrambled eggs, eggs Benedict, fresh omelets they make in front of you on the griddle, fresh Mickey mouse shaped waffles, bananas foster, Mickey shaped pancakes, bacon, chicken sausage, pork sausage, parfait station, hot and cold cereal staion and sooo much more, I can't name all of it. It was all just such a great experience. We all loved it! Thank all of you for such a wonderful experience for our family!!

We booked this character breakfast as a last minute decision, and I'm so glad we did! We did have to wait about 20 minutes past our reservation time before we were seated, but that's understandable. Once our name was called, we were in line to see Mickey. The Photopass photographer gladly took pictures with my camera as well as theirs. We went to get our first round of food, and they were by right away with orange juice and coffee, which was refilled before we even realized it needed refilling throughout the whole meal! Characters we saw were Mickey, Minnie, Daisy, Pluto and Stitch. Stitch was amazing with the kids!! He did a little dance with them every 15 minutes or so, and was mischievous. It was great to get to see and interact with 5 characters without waiting in line! And I found the food to be fantastic. Yes, it's a buffet, but it's the best buffet food I've ever had!! I found it to be higher than average quality. I had 4 or 5 servings of the Bananas Foster French Toast. Haha Anyways, we met lots of characters, had some great food and had fun, and it was worth the $150 we paid (with gratuity) for 4 of us. I would recommend anyone with kids who love the Disney characters to go here!

Won't eat anywhere else in Disneyland for dinner. The food is AMAZING for a buffet and where else can you get Salmon, Prime Rib, Mussels, BBQ ribs etc. with all the sides for this price? I am so surprised by the low ratings to be honest. If you are into quality comfort style food this is your place. The staff was great too and the chef even came out to greet us to see how everything was.

If I could give them 1,000 stars I would! We were on my sons wish trip. He is a 4.5 year old son, soon to be an official cancer survivor. He was born with a rare eye cancer called Retinoblastoma. He was granted a wish from Kids Wish Network. He loves Mickey mouse and naturally picked meeting Mickey Mouse! This dining experience was the only thing we added as an extra. It was not included in the wish trip. Given our financial situation due to having a child with cancer we figured it may be quite some time before we get to visit Disney again. The trip overall was so magical but in my eyes having a character dining experience would just be the icing on the cake for my family! Boy was I ever right! First off EVERY SINGLE and I mean EVERY SINGLE staff member was Amazing! You can tell they are trained to greet someone with in eyesight or something. I mean even the gentleman who was keeping the buffet tidy and full started a conversation with me and it started with a warm greeting! We did tell the hostess we were there on a wish trip and they spoiled us and my son for sure but I did observe every child in there was also treated with so much love! If you are going to Disney you must check this place out! The dance party was super cute and both my boys loved dancing with the characters. The Omelette Chef who did not know we were there on my sons wish trip was OUTSTANDING! I was already stuffed but my husband had a Omelette from him and I just had to get one so he made me a mini one. The food was really good and fresh. They had many choices! The place was clean! It was about half full when were were in there and all the characters made their rounds at least twice! The Minnie Mouse and the Daisy and the Donald that day you three went above and beyond to make our experience one to remember!!! We gave Daisy a trading pin and wanted to give Minnie one too but she was busy with another family when we were leaving (my boys favor girls :) ) I added that part in case the manager is able to see this and read this to Minnie and Daisy. We loved Minnie too and she spent a lot of time with us, she stole our hearts!!! We were moved by the whole experience and I am sure glad we budgeted for it! I read a ton of these reviews and the first thing you must remember when reading reviews is: People when having a bad experience no matter how small or petty it is in the big scheme of things, they are much more likely to do a review and voice their opinion, than when everything goes there way. It's just human nature. If you read through the bad reviews you'll notice for the most part there is a trend, either the person was expecting the moon and the stars for the price point and gave a review because they deemed it to be more expensive than it was worth in their eyes. That's kinda unfair because any place in our around Disney is expected to be pricier. I personally loved the food but was there for my kids to experience the character dining. So short of packing your own sack lunches you should expect ALL restaurants in or around Disney to be a bit higher. Also I noticed a few people had said service was great the food was good/great but one thing or another blew it for them and they scored the entire experience 1 star, that's completely unfair! Just a tip if you have a kiddo that is dying to meet one of the Characters make it be known to the hostess, manager or your server. They will make it happen so long as they can based on how busy they are. They aren't aloud to just brush of kids they have to give them a great experience so if one family takes a lot of their time and that character doesn't make it to your table its completely unfair to downgrade the entire experience because of that, simply let a staff member know before you leave that your family would love to meet the character you came to meet! To the staff at Disney's PCH Grill, you truly are doing an amazing job and our experience was MAGICAL because of you! We are not sure when the next time we will make it to Disney but if and when we do WE ARE COMING BACK!!!

Fantastic dining experience! The create your own pasta has amazing shrimp, sausage, chicken, and other items with fantastic sauces. All included! 27.00 was a bit steep at first but the dishes were amazing! My child, family, and I had a fantastic family dining experience with a quiet serene atmosphere. This is a diamond in the rough!

Back in April 2015 this was my first character breakfast that we attended at the California Park. We arrived and checked in early, we walked in under (a half an hour later). First got to meet Mickey Mouse in front of the restaurant photo backdrop, then we got seated near the windows. We got some food and we ate. Surprised to meet Stitch right there on location, what a warm welcome!!! My family and I enjoyed the food, and the environment. Good to meet Daisy Duck for the first time also, I noticed that Minnie was on the route of characters (behind Daisy) to meet us next. Daisy moves to the next table, I turned around to see Minnie and she took off. And she started doing a different route when she returned, mother and I walked to where she was. And the people at that table couldn't have been nicer and let me take a picture with her. I'm not mad, all I'm asking is that director(s) better arrange the table route with the characters. So that all the guests can meet each one!!!

The staff was amazing, thank You! First of all make a reservation. Stitch was super important to my children and the manager made sure they got him! The food was so tastey! Eggs Benedict, piles of bacon, Mickey waffles... We were full until lunch, and days prior at Disney eating at every turn lol. I am so happy with our breakfast experience, it was magical just like Disney!
