I will tell you I am not a fan of Dave's Hot Chicken so when my friends told me to try Byrd's I was very skeptical. I will tell you that they did not disappoint. The chicken was a little too spicy even though it was mild but it was delicious. I highly recommend this place over Dave's!!!
Got the #2 Tender combo (supahot) with fries and potato salad. My 9yo got the #2 also (medium) with fries & ate it all. Everything was delicious! The chicken was crispy outside and juicy inside. If you eat really spicy food, I suggest getting supahot. Fries were crispy and seasoned well. The bread was chubby, crispy & soft. It's a cute little place in a Corner Plaza next to the pizza place. There's about 3 tables inside, pricing is fair, and the staff was polite.
Chicken was made to order. Delicious, juicy and spicy. Glad I ordered mild. Perfect amount of spice for me but more spice than I was expecting. Staff were great. Fun menu with good variety. Sides were tasty. A few tables if you want to eat in.
Small restaurant with seating for maybe 16 diners. Buffalo wings with mango habanero sauce are great. The chicken sandwich is pretty good too. Chicken is tender and juicy and hot from the kitchen. Fries were unfortunately a bit cold and the mac n cheese was quite watery. Still worth a visit if you’re in the area though.
The food was amazing. I highly recommend this spot. The Byrd bomb is a must try if you like pickles. I will be going to this spot every time I travel to the Anaheim area.
I had the pleasure of meeting the owner who invited me to come try to the food and I’m so happy he did, he didn’t ask me to write a review or do anything.
The food is incredible it easily tops the other chicken spots in the area and th staff was kind and the food was fresh and quick.
This will be a new staple meal for post Disneyland trips

Fries were crispy and hot. The tenders were nicely sized and seasoned to perfection with enough spice to make you double back for more. Hands down a 10/10 would highly recommend!
This is a hidden gem in the Anaheim theme park precinct. Decent prices, great service and tasty food. We got the Mac and Cheese (Comes with a cut up chicken tender on top) and the Spicy Chicken Sandwich meal. The chicken was tender, juicy and flavoursome. Don't miss out on this little place, one of the best Chicken Sandwiches I had in the USA right here. Thanks guys!
This place is must check out. Anyone who loves the spice . Food is flavorful and stays hot because they prepare it right away not like any fast food . Cake shake is also hit . Owners are very sweet . Went their twice for take out and dine in.

Super torn due to really bad service the second time I went.
I thought the chicken was great. It's a pretty big size tender and I like the flavor. The supa hot wasn't really spicy if you're someone that likes hot food but it tasted good none the less. The fries were good too. And on the first visit I was pretty in and out with my food with no issues.
It was basically the first and last place I ate at on my trip to the area. The second time around the service was horrible though. Took 5 minutes for any of the 4 guys working in there to come to the register to take an order. There were people already waiting in line when I came in that had to have been waiting longer. They took that one person's order and then went back to cooking - without taking my order. It was another 5+ minutes before they came back up to take my order. And the space the cook in is right there behind the register - not like they didn't see me standing there looking at them the whole time.
It was 20 minutes more before I got my food - almost an exact 30 minutes of waiting in restaurant to get my food. And the guy in front of me ordered the tenders too... so all they had to do was fry 4 tenders instead of 2 and I could have had mine 10 minutes earlier with that other guys order. Someone who ordered after me ended up getting their order before me. It was a total joke.
I left them the 4 star for the taste of the food and benefit of the doubt. But if I had rated based on that second trip they'd get a 2 star or maybe worse
