So we stopped here about 6 pm on Thursday evening and it was not crowded at all. The bar area has more people than the dining area. The restaurant decor is a bit plain but the food and service were good. We ordered shrimp fajitas which came with rice and beans and the shrimp tacos. They give you chips and salsa while you wait which is always a plus.
We enjoyed our dinner but the service was slow and several drinks were wrong. They were busy so we understood to some extent. That was not typical in our other visits. The food was good and the taco buffet was a hit. We got the chocolate ice cream cake that was shared… and it was great.
The food and service was excellent. Sylvia C. was an excellent waitress and kept the bottomless mimosas coming. I enjoyed the Sunday brunch and was able to try several new things
I'm in town visiting and was looking for something unique and delicious to eat. I saw a few reviews and decided to have a meal at El Torito. I had a Black Diamond Margarita and the Ignited Fajitas Supremas. Everything was great. The presentation, the temp, and the taste were wonderful. My Bartenders were great!
The food is always awesome at El Torito. I usually go to the one in either Torrance or Lakewood but this location was very nice too. My friend, my dad, & I went around 1:30 on a Wednesday and it wasn't busy at all. We were seated right away and our food came quickly. We also had the option to eat at the buffet. I ordered the Macho Combo and it was so good and very good value for the price. It came with a Chile rellano, chicken enchilada, crispy barbacoa taco 🌮, chicken tamale 🫔, rice, beans, & my favorite sweet corn cake. I usually get the sizzling fajitas but I would definitely get the Macho Combo again. My friend had the all you can eat tortilla soup and Mexican Cesar salad, & my dad had a chicken enchilada and crispy taco combo plate. Everything was delicious and the atmosphere was nice too. El Torito is one of my favs and you can't go wrong with the Sunday Brunch with bottomless mimosas 🍾 Forgot to take a pic until I had already dug in LoL
Came here for the buffet brunch and it was way better than the other brunches offered at other el Torito locations. There was a wide selection, everything seemed well cooked. Just be prepared… it is extremely LOUD. We brought our autistic wheelchair bound cousin and she struggled with the noise level, but for the record it was much louder than a sports bar on game night🤷🏽♀️
I was here about a yr ago in March. Spacious dining areas where tables aren't on top of one another, warm and welcoming staff who were very knowledgeable & delicious food and drinks! Great menu options, there was something for everyone!
The food was fantastic however our waiter was rude every time we asked for something. He said we have to wait hello we needed forks and spoons we had to wait . our food was there already how do we have to wait finally I told the manger he was great we got drinks however we don't drink only water and tea
Came here for Sunday brunch. There was 10 in the party and we were seated immediately. This location was clean, the food was good, and the service was great. Our server Silvia was awesome! She was kind and attentive, she made the experience that much better. Will be returning and I Recommend!
Dad asked for good Mexican food for his 98th birthday. He loved it, as did we all. Our food server was delightful. We had quite a variety of entrees: grilled chicken enchilada and chile relleno, sour cream chicken enchilada, carne asada burrito, chicken tostada, and a nostalgia combo of chicken milanesa, steak rolled tacos, and cheese enchilada. Everyone savored their dishes.
Was early for our reservation, but was still seated in a timely fashion. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Food was a tad slow coming out, but definitely worth the wait. Best Mexican food have had in a while. Definitely glad we came here, and next time we are back in the area will probably be back.
I would like to give a big shout-out to our server today, MILTON!! He was absolutely 💯 amazing 👏. He is a great asset to this branch. I see how great he was with all his tables he did at least 10 tables, not including ours at the same time. Always with a great smile and trying to serve to his best ability without any trouble having our order and drinks on a timely manner.
Food was amazing as always and we enjoyed our time during happy hour.
Must go and try 1800 fajitas 😋 delicious.
Party of 17(Friends & family) for my husbands bday🎉 Seemed like the restaurant was goin from a skeleton crew but our waiter Luis pulled it all together! This ONE server was amazing! We’re talkin bout serving all the meals without a mistake to keeping our drinks full from start to finish! He smiled the whole time & kept checking in with us to see if there was anything else we needed. One ?…why the heck can’t other restaurants be like this!
We came to have dinner this past Saturday and the food and service was great! Our waiter, Fernando, went above and beyond to make sure we were pleased. Will definitely be returning and the drinks are a plus!
