I’ve been here for the first time, it was on Dec 31, 2017 and yes it was my new year eve dinner with my man.
I had their Beef with Green Onions and my man had Tofu with Green Veggies, with 2 white rice.
For the portion it’s HUGE (LOL), for both of it.
The Beef was really good and it’s worthy for the price too, the Beef was tender and juicy.
I packed the food since I can’t finish it, and when I heat it on the next day, it’s still is juicy.
The Tofu is good, and we finish it there (we didn’t pack it home), the amount of the Tofu was also worth with the veggie, it’s not too much it’s just a fit amount.
We were really satisfied with the quick service and the waitress were also friendly though they’re in a really busy night. They aware on our water that needs to be refill and they asked how’s the food they serve or any complaints we had.
So far, it went really well and happy tummy for us.
They’re not pricey for me, since it’s worth enough if you come in group and you want to have different cuisine that comes in moderate portion.
Make sure you try this place if you want a halal and awesome Chinese food if you come here!
I really recommend this place!
Parking is ok, ambience it’s good and it’s a big place but not a noisy one!

Chinese halal food is not too easy to come by. The interior decor and space is really worth mentioning.
Food is good and portions are big (better to avoid ordering noodles or rice with chicken/beef & seafood/shrimp) and the menu is extensive (including parantha for example) to cater to all the asian communities that frequent this restaurant.

Great Chinese Food. My friend is Islamic so we stopped her for dinner. We got there just as the restaurant was opening at 5:00 pm on a Sunday night. In less than an hour the place was packed and there were people waiting. My friend, who has been there before, said this was typical. The place is immensely popular. After being served dinner I could see why. First, the portions are huge. Better yet the food is very good, and the prices are reasonable. What better combination could you have to attract diners? I highly recommend this place, but go early if you don't want to wait.

Loved it!. The lamb fried rice is amazing! the three flavors crispy chow mein was good too but next time im going to chose the regular three flavors chow mein.

The three flavors chow mein has shrimp, chicken, and beef mixed in.

The portions of both plates were big, so its enough for 3 people.

Service was fast and friendly, its sort of a calm friendly ambiance. So if you have loud company I would suggest to tone it down a bit if you visit. Our total for drinks and both plates came out to like $35 with tip.

I also loved the lobby its so nice =)

Im definitely going back!!

Best sweet and sour chicken!!. The service was great, our food came out fast and hot. They easily have the best sweet and sour chicken in Orange county and the portions were huge. The only thing i wasnt crazy about was the sesame bread but everything else was great.

Awesome!. Really good food. Went on a Saturday night and the place was hoppin! Sat in about 10-15 minutes for a party of three. The food, like I said, was good and we ate plenty of it. Wait staff is extremely friendly and service was a lot faster than I expected, especially considering the packed house.

The food here is halal and of course if you want an alcoholic beverage you'll have to go someplace else. As long as you're good with those things, definitely give Mas' a try!

They were busy because the food is fantastic, but a 15 minute wait. Great servers. Lots of big groups. Ambience in lobby is beautiful, but the dining room isn't the most appealing by OC dining standards, but feels like a community hot spot. Lots of parking. No pork dishes. Best onion bread!!

The restaurant is great for accommodating large families/groups. A variety of dishes on the menu are available. Great option, if you enjoy sharing dishes. Sometimes crowded and there is a wait time**Check their schedule, Sundays open at 4:30pm.

Despite the recent negative reviews, I will give them thumbs up! I visit every now and then so, I can not really compare old vs now. However, when we were there on Saturday, we enjoyed our dinner. Portions are really big and this restaurant is not that pricey. We ordered vegetable chow mein, orange chicken, Mongolian beef, beef wrap and thin sesame bread with garlic. Orders were hot, fresh and delicious. Will definitely visit again when I go to LA.

Still good but not great. Haven't been to this location for years. It used to be great but I think their other locations are better now. Only reason I come to this one is for the thick sesame bread and the red bean bread. Other than that, nomads and the mas in Laguna is better. Prices here are a bit cheaper than the other locations but the food quality and taste is not as good. The go to is cumin lamb, at this location, skip it. It's not good. All the breads are good but for it's not as good as years past. Not enough green onion and not enough red bean. They cutting down in food cost? Who knows...? Service is nice enough for a Chinese place but still terrible in general standards. They don't have enough staff to be efficient. Either way, try the other locations if you haven't been.

A must in Fullerton. A must for any Chinese food lover as this was probably the best, so far, that ice had the pleasure of eating. Their plan fried noodles weren't soggy from the sauce/gravy, the roast duck was perfectly rendered with crispy skin,... just go.

The jellyfish is crunchy and a nice addition to traditional Chinese dishes- we had the house special fried rice, walnut shrimp, house special wonton soup, table length bread which seems to be the most popular choice; sizzling beef dish, chicken w/ veggies and lots of tea to wash it all down. You may want to take an apple cider vinegar supplement beforehand as there’s a lot of carbs. Service is quick & you have to be very clear when you order. Extremely casual. Good place to go with any family that’s visiting you.

Excellent Chinese Halal food , ample seating arrangement and available parking spots. Be advised that this place gets very crowded in the evenings, therefore, don’t be surprised if you are asked to wait in excess of half an hour.

We arrive at doors opening 5pm Saturday night. We where quickly seated. The smell of garlic and chilis in the air as we walk to our table and grab out seats. Our waitress was friendly, attentive and courteous. Food at Ma's always fresh and tasty. Portions are family size and good for sharing. We started with the Egg Rolls and Three Flavors Wonton Soup. Egg Rolls super crispy and tightly roll right out the fryer. Wonton soup had generous amount of thin slice beef, chicken and shrimps. Hearty Soup was earthy and season right. Bamboo shoots, carrots, peas and wontons where tender. Main course, Broccoli Beef, Orange Chicken, Lamb with Green Onions. Beef was tender and sweet. Chicken crispy, sweet and right amount of heat. Lamb was marinade right, chewy, right amount garlic. We had the house hot tea to wash down our food. The bad. Green floor carpets and the walls look worn down/dirty. We should have taken our food To- Go.

The food was really good, although the waiting time could be quite a bit long in the weekend. But it's worth it for the food and the quality. The onion pancake was great, the beef and lamb meat was tender, and the vegetables also fresh. The atmosphere also pleasant to have conversations, no loud music or loud show on the background.

We love to go there to eat. We drive a long distance to enjoy their food but unfortunately their quality of food isn’t consistent. This time we took a big group of people and spent $600 on the food but the food was not good.

I've been boycotting dining at Ma's Islamic Chinese restaurant for about 5-6 years now simply for the fact that the last time I was here the experience was, let's just say, not up to par. Either they've changed the staff and management or there was a major overhaul of the service training. Ma's staff was most definite more attentive this time around. I would say 3/5, but considered to the previous time, it's a would of difference. So, quick backstory. My out of town friends wanted to go here. They knew i didn't want to come, but they basically kidnapped me to go eat dinner with them. And that's how the review came about. We ordered about 11 dishes all good. Just disappointed in a specific order for myself. When i go to Nomads Asian Bistro ( my favorite Chinese restaurant in Long Beach), i have to order the Basil eggplant. I have to say it's one of my favorite dishes. Unfortunately here at Ma's, it was a letdown because it tasted bland. However, i do understand every restaurant had their own style and the eggplant better just wasn't jiving with me. All in all, service was decent, food is above par and sizable portions. There is plenty of parking when they're not busy, and it is family and stroller friendly. I'm praying the decent service thing wasn't a fluke so i might have to try it again to really find out. Happy eating!
