The Syrian ice cream is absolutely wonderful and unlike anything I have ever tasted. Cool, refreshing, but not too sweet. Baklava is pure heaven—as were the cookies that came with my ice cream. Show some love to our hardworking immigrant neighbors!❤️

Came here for the Syrian ice cream and bought way more! Firstly, this was my first time trying Syrian ice cream and it was so delicious!!! I will definitely crave this frequently! If you come here, do NOT leave without buying the Syrian ice cream. Other goodies I purchased include cakes and cannoli, all very good! The owner is super nice which always makes the experience better.

Very nice place if you need to buy a quick gift for someone. They have wide variety of cakes and cookies to chose from. Double chocolate cake is the best I’ve tried from them. Employees are very nice and professional…

They are very friendly. They have so many different Middle Eastern pastries to try. I tried one of almost everything so I know what I will order the next time. Problem: I liked them all! Amazing!

We've been here too many times to count! Have tried the cookies, pastries and cakes. Our favorite is the mango, and fruit tarts. If you want to buy a gift for a hostess, this is a great place. The cakes are not only beautiful they are delicious. We purchased the red velvet and it was a hit with all the kids. My favorite is black forest...a very hard cake to make and find! But this is a proper black forest cake. My only complaint is that from the outside of the store it's hard to tell if it's open or not! We went in the late afternoon and they have to draw all the curtains because of the sun's direct focus on the pastries which I totally get. But just some advice, if it looks closed from the outside, still check! It's probably just because of the hot afternoon sun.

SYRIA 🇸🇾 Eat the World LA review: A little over a year ago, the New Yorker published a story by Orange County's beloved (and sometimes not so much) Gustavo Arellano covering the tale of the ice cream at Le Mirage and its journey from Damascus. Tucked away in the old city of Syria's capital, an almost 140 year old shop selling booza called Bakdash was what owner Maher Nakhal wanted to bring to Anaheim. If you have ever traveled in the Levant, you have certainly come across booza, the ice cream that stretches when pulled apart and seems to have an ability to resist melting much longer than ice cream we are used to in other places. With ingredients native to the area, this type of dessert has been made since seemingly the beginning of time. A flour made from orchid tubers called salep and the resin of mastic trees used in chewing gum are what gives the ice cream its unforgettable qualities. The bowl is served like a flower, with sliced petals of booza rimmed with pistachios. True to its promise, the stretchy fun is all there and brings back good memories for me of enjoying dondurma on sunny days in Turkey.

Good and tasty desserts. Strongly sweet flavors. The cakes were soft and fluffy. The fillings were sweeter than what my pallet is accustomed to. Their cakes and small bites taste like small candy bars so I can finish a meal with just a few bites and save the rest for later. Worth the trip. Wonderfully friendly staff.

On our way out of town we stopped here for breakfast, we tried some fruit tarts and these mini bagel looking things. Everything was super tasty and not too expensive. Yosef helped us out he didn’t speak too much English but we worked around it well and he was incredibly nice.

Here you can find what might be the best baklava in all of Orange County. And they serve bouza which is a Syrian ice cream-like dessert that is really good, covered in pistachios.

Before I compliment how amazing the icecream and pastries are .. I would like to express how LOVING the woman who works here is . She's very sweet, great energy, patient and keeps a very tidy bakery. Thank you for being welcoming and feeding us amazing sweets lol. I love the pistachio pastry AND the cookies and creme icecream. I also tasted a puff pastry, very sweet and circle ( unsure the name) . That was delicious as well. Just drop by, IF you're ever in the area and pay her a visit. You'll be sure to find something that you love here. Enjoy!

Came to this place all the way from San Diego and it was worth the driving. Everything I got was delicious. The girl at the front was great just need to be nicer and smile more to attract more customers. This place got great potentials to be a known brand. Le Mirage let me know if you are trying to expand I will be more than happy to collaborate with you.
