Love this place. Good beer menu - Midnight Sun's Mayors Marathon Golden was delicious. Balcony has great view of the Chugach Mountains. Menu has never disappointed.

A quality experience every time! The citrus soy glazed grilled salmon is the best by far in town! Try it! I'm not kidding. Or the spicy coconut curry rice.

They couldn't have been more accommodating to us and it was the night of the Bush concert. The buffet was delicious. So worth it.

Fantastic lunch! - Flavorful Thai Curry and the Alaskan Amber Beer Battered Halibut were delicious! Our server was professional and quick. The atmosphere is different from the usual restaurant lunch spots, with the ability to look out through large windows into the sports arena...even when there are no games on- a nice change! Can't wait until the patio opens this month. Thanks Varsity!

The NEW best deck/patio in town. Best by far! The mountain views are amazing, it's sheltered on 3 sides, and has a very high roof so it's an all-weather deck. I've eaten here 4 times now and I have been pleased with my food every time. The service has been excellent and any issues are fixed immediately and pleasantly (my steak was underdone one time).

Nice atmosphere. Had a short amount of time to eat, but the food service was quick. I chose the French dip after seeing the reviews here. Was not disappointed. Food is a little expensive for a lunch, but the food quality, location, and atmosphere made it not as much of a focus. I would eat here again.

Making a reservation through this google local was super easy and very nice. The food was good, different flavors than i would have thought they would use, i am pretty sure i had some eggplant. Just unusual and refreshingly new. Our waitress on the other hand was rather upset about something, maybe we took her favorite spot, but she loved to be as underhanded as she could. It was rather offputting, but i don't think it will stop us from coming back

Hidden gem on UAA campus. You have to enter the Alaska Airlines Center and ascend the elevator to find the place. Actually reminds me of the type of restaurants often found at Disney Resorts: Clean, well-appointed, with attentive service and fantastic views, but pretty standard food. Yet I have no complaints regarding the food. Anchorage, in general, is a burger-fries-pizza kind of place. Read the menu carefully herr and you can find hidden gems. For example, I ordered a cup of the creamy wild rice and mushroom soup amd it blew my socks off. But remember the views! The dining room overlooks the stadium's basketball court or, in nice weather, you can choose outdoor dining with panoramas of the Chugach mountains. Awesome either way and totally unlike anywhere else in the city. Lastly, you can ignore student reviews that complain about meal points and compare the Varsity to other student eateries. They are talking to a different audience.

Still a pretty low key new restaurant, it offers a nice interior view of the new Alaska Airlines Sports Arena through large windows. Also has exterior balcony seating that has a good view of the Chugach Mountain range. Live music occasionally, alcohol, pizza, burgers, this is a great place to go with friends and family.

Best sky box dining anywhere! I love this place. Great friendly service and tasty food with little extras make it special.
