Jethro’s BBQ in Ankeny, very similar to other locations in Des Moines metro area. All of the food is really good, especially their smoked meats. Probably my favorite wings anywhere! The jalapeño cream corn is great. If you like a good breaded tenderloin sandwich, you can’t go wrong with Jethro’s.

Loved Jethro's when they started... But as they have expanded, the quality has significantly plummeted. If you order takeout, be prepared for 3× less food. All satisfied. Short 15 min wait for party of 9 on a Sunday. Employees working hard and hustling. Expect to wait and have cups empty for a bit bc of staff being tight. However. Didn't bother or ruin our experience. People need grace and patience!
