Such good food. Had a really great experience here. All staff is very nice and kind and greet you when you walk in. Nothing bad to say about this place I definitely recommend. 10/10!!

Burritos were good, but meat was over cooked or out too long that it was dry. And then my churros were WAY over cooked or the oil was to dark. 🤔 why u do me wrong abelardos? $30 on 2 burritos & 2 churros.

Called for a carry out order 6 minutes before 10pm close on Sunday night. They accepted our order, and within a 4 minute drive, the burrito we ordered was ready. Three Smiling employees greeted us and Food was hot and fresh. Great customer service in putting the customer first. Thank you!

We decided to venture out and try a new to us place. This place was FREEZING!! We didn't dare take our coats off. The food was cold, old, and wayyyyy over cooked. My fish tacos were nasty. The best Mexican food you will find in Iowa. It even meets the higher standards of Mexican food I got used to growing up in LA, which surprised me. Such excellent food we eat here every time we want Tacos or Burritos.

Ordered delivery from their online ordering menu. Ordered 2 chicken fajitas and 1 steak fajitas. I was delivered burritos. Called abalardos and they blamed grub hub, they refused to fix the order. Bad business!

I know it’s supposed to be a top notch Mexican place in ankeny but I just haven’t had that experience. Every time I’ve had their food it’s either burnt, soaking wet or not as described. I love to support local but I just can’t with them. The food is awful and overpriced. I’d rather go to Amigos and
