With the pandemic still raging in Michigan and several young kids at home, we do a lot of takeout, I mean A LOT. Isalita, without a doubt is my absolute favorite takeout in all of Ann Arbor. I almost always get the chicken enchiladas (pictured). The flavor is spectacular, unlike any I’ve ever had. We also frequent the nachos (also pictured) and the guacamole is a must-get every time. Our kids enjoy the chicken tacos (sauce on the side). Once covid numbers die down in Michigan (and/or warm weather) I can’t wait to eat there in person. Thanks to the staff and chefs for always making our dinner enjoyable.
Every time I’ve come here the food has been phenomenal. I’ve tried most of the tacos at this point and it’s hard to pick a favorite, but the al pastor is a must try! If you come for lunch it’s usually not too crowded, but dinners can be a little rowdy. Highly recommend if you’re looking for somewhere to eat in Ann Arbor.
The BEST restaurant in Ann Arbor that I've been to. I've lived here for 4 years and can't believe I just went for the first time today. The food, cocktails, and appetizers were actually perfectly prepared and the best tasting food I've had in Ann Arbor (I've tried nearly every single restaurant). The price is leaning on the expensive side but totally worth it for a nice night out. Helena Li was a fantastic waitress and provided amazing service for us. Highly, highly recommended.
Best Mexican food in Ann Arbor downtown. Fried chicken tacos and classic margaritas must try.
Awesome vibe and just great tasting food! Loved the cocktails too. Classic margarita rocks always ! Great location. Good service. The tacos are so tiny - bite sized.. that’s the only complaint.
I went with a group of 7, and we were all satisfied with our outing to Isalita. Everything was delicious and would definitely go again. The waitress service was fantastic; our waitress was so kind and helpful. However, the hostess was unprofessional. I came in to get a table, but she did not greet me or ask me what I needed. She just stared at me waiting for me to speak up, which I did. Overall an 8/10. Highly suggest.
