This restaurant is definitely a four star if not a five-star but the server whose name was Coleman I believe did an outstanding job and should be noted as an asset to the company. We're not from the area so I don't know if we'll be visiting this place frequently, but if we are in the Ann arbor area, we will definitely come and dine again and request Coleman. Atmosphere is great. Food was excellent and the staff who greeted us did a great job as well. All around a great place. Hope other people see this review and visit
Was at this establishment for dinner reservations on Mother's Day 2022. The food was delicious, with proper portions and not the American oversized portions. The waitress was very attentive and accommodating with the tables dietary needs. The atmosphere and ambiance has a family feel with a slight hint of romanticism. The decor had an old but ageless feel to it. My family and I stayed way longer than expected after finishing our meal, but never felt rushed to leave by the waitress or staff even though the establishment was closing. Would definitely patronize this restaurant again. Oh and they offer a full bar, but I could not indulge due to a cleanse I was undergoing at the time we visited.
I enjoyed my pecan encrusted chicken entrée, served with delicious smashed potatoes and vegetables. The corn chowder was excellent, and I shared a side of Mac & cheese, which was very creamy with a crunchy bacon topping. The cocktails they pour are pretty solid; check out the old fashion, or if available the smoke infused Manhattan. There are so many good things here that fall into the comfort food category… Ribs the aforementioned mac & cheese, fish and chips, and of course the burgers and fries. So there is something for almost every taste. The service is quite good here. I recommend this as a place to check out, especially if you are looking to get away from downtown Ann Arbor offerings.
In town for the weekend, we stopped for a late dinner and were not disappointed. We sat on the covered patio with a cozy fire and shared an Impossible burger, roasted Brussels sprouts, and some local draft beers. Great service, delicious food, and a welcoming venue.
My experience here would have been 5 stars had my chair held it together for me. It was like the scene from the movie Shallow Hal. I am 5'4" and 146 lbs. As soon as I sat down the beautiful chair folded like a lawn chair and I hit the floor. My husband is 250 lbs and had no problems. It was very embarrassing. Other than that, we loved all of the food we ordered and our server was great. We had artichoke dip, 2 prime ribs, pecan crusted chicken, and adult beverages. Starting my diet today! 🤣
Lovely place. Simple menu and good attention to details; in the place, people, and food.
Definitely better than others that try harder but are less affordable. This place is priced reasonably and does a good job. Not my favorite place personally, but it definitely a hidden gem for the area.
Best Ole Fashion I've ever had. Steaks and Salmon were slightly over and my broccoli was clod with almost no seasoning. Service was great so I'll give them another shot.
Food was good, wait staff was wonderful. However it states Gluten Free options on Website & Trip Advisor. Less Gluten Free options then Applebee's. There options are plaine meat/chicken/fish. French Fries r battered with wheat base. For the options & price ratio Applebee's or Longhorn are better choices.
