I've grabbed lunch from earthen jar at a few farmers markets now. Everything has been absolutely delicious! I love how at the farmers market stand I'm able to try a little bit of so many different dishes I've never had before, so there's no commitment lol. And every dish has been amazing. Thank you for committing the time and effort to have a stand at so many local farmers markets. Can't recommend enough! :)

The best thing I liked was, it felt home made, authentic (non artificial) Indian cuisine in the true sense. I wish I lived in Ann Arbor so that i can keep coming back. The ambience isnt like a 5star restaurant, but similar to that of a small home, Bob Marley's music adds to the peaceful environment. Vegetarian can be delicious and this place proves it! Cheap good food. Loved it!

Wonderful place! They feature vegan and vegetarian cuisine. Great variety and wonderful spices!! At first I was put off by the price, but for what you get it's totally worth it. I was able to make several meals out of one trip :P

This place is fabulous. I have been here twice while in Ann Arbor for conferences at the university; it's close to campus and open late. Delicious vegetarian Indian food, good variety of hot dishes and appetizers and desserts, sold by weight. The staff is really friendly and will answer any questions you have about the food. For me, as a vegan with celiac disease, eating out is often a challenge, but there was so much here that I could eat, and it was all really good.

We loved the creative fusion of some of our favourite Indian tastes with vegan friendly tofu etc. The cold dishes were especially nice. Glad we stopped.

I LOVE the food at Earthen Jar! I usually pick up from their booth at the Pittsfield Farmers Market and every dish I have tried is excellent! I have also eaten at the restaurant, Very quaint but needs to be updated.

Love that it's vegetarian and some vegan. Tasty & fresh food, great variety. Home-style Indian dishes along with some creative options. Jasmine is so friendly :) Seating is unique, small house turned into restaurant, charge for food by weight, which is different. Maybe salad should be separate? Yummy none the less, 2 thumbs up Great for college students before, during, and after exams!

Every single item on the menu is fantastic. The quality of the food by itself would merit Earthen Jar 5 stars, but the genuine kindness of the staff makes it a one of a kind establishment. Each meal is prepared with care, and are mostly vegan so it’s an all around great place. Highly recommend!

The food here is so flavorful!! 5/5 it’s one of the best places I’ve eaten in Ann Arbor. Their hours are a little difficult but that’s because they’ve started a lot of other partnerships since the pandemic. Come for the food and stay for the kind & warm service

I moved back home from Ann Arbor a couple years ago but I still think about this place regularly. My brother is a foodie too, and when I took him to Earthen Jar he heartily agreed that it's a gem. For anyone searching out delicious vegetarian food at a good price, there's no contest.

Never a bad experience here in 20 years. The people are great and the food is good. I’m not even vegetarian but I’m not missing meat when I eat here.

Great Indian food. I am not a vegetarian but did not miss meat at all. Wish I got another meal instead of going to some other underwhelming places that start with a Z

I have loved eating at Earthen Jar for years and still do! Their food is wholesome, healthy, and delicious. I eat here as often as I can, and always indulge in one of their vegan & gluten free baked goods. A must try!
